  • A: Jane, Thank you for reaching out. Yes, these are dehydrated mashed potatoes - simply add 2 cups of water to a medium sized saucepan and heat water on high to a boil. Remove boiling water from heat and immediately stir in entire pouch of potatoes. Mix thoroughly using a fork to moisten all potatoes and let stand 1 minute. Stir well and serve. Impossible to have just one serving!

Made it with mostly milk and added slices of butter at the end. Used a one-pot method by heating the milk and water mixture to slow boil, added the flakes and turned the heat off. Quick and easy and no extra dishes!

Unbelievable!

I have never been a fan of instant potatoes and I absolutely love these! They were recommended to me by a person who is a gourmet cook. That's how good they thought the potatoes were. I hope that someday you sell these by the box. Is that a possibility?

***go buy potatoes, peel, cook, wait, mash, serve. or take one of these instant pouches, pour in a bowl add boiling water, done! they thicken gravies and can be played with a little to make a dip. i add a touch of crushed basil leaves, powdered onion, powdered garlic and good to go.

So close to real!!

I love these pouches of mashed potatoes... Closest thing I have found to "real" mashed potatoes both in taste and texture. As a widow, I don't go through a lot of potatoes and they spoil before I can eat them all. However, this pouches are perfect... a couple of meals and maybe some potato pancakes. You've made my single life so much easier!
