Foster Farms Frozen Orange Breaded Chicken - 24oz

When I can find it I heat the orange chicken in the oven and while that takes place mixed the sauce with Dole pineapple chunks in a wok pan sautéed on low hear.. Then once the chicken is cooked, I thoroughly mix the chicken, sauce and pineapple chunks and then serve. Best orange chicken that I have found, better than Hart or Yang's Orange Chicken. Too bad my local Ralph's replaced Foster Farms with Tyson which doesn't taste as good and doesn't make an Orange Chicken.

I love this orange chicken but at best, it feeds 2 people. I have no idea why the packaging says it serves 6.

My family is so happy when I make this for them. Normally I make everything from scratch but this has become such a dependable, easy, well-loved meal to put in front of my family. Please don’t change it. My son suggests a Buffalo version using this same chicken. He’s allergic to dairy & eggs so some other versions of your chicken aren’t safe for him.

My daughter loves orange chicken so I bought this hoping it was good. The pieces of chicken without the sauce tasted good. The sauce was terrible. It was almost like straight vinegar. It was so strong it burned my nose. I tried adding sugar and honey. Even adding a small amount of water to make it less acidic. But it was like all vinegar. It definitely didn't taste of orange. We put the sauce in the trash and used bbq sauce. Won't buy this again. This is a real review. I noticed all the reviews are the same on all platforms. It's weird. Seems like AI reviews or fake reviews. This sauce was terrible and not worth the money. Wouldn't buy again.

Great quality for not being homemade

Actually really good! We love Panda Express orange chicken and this was almost as good. I left it in longer than 20 minutes because we like it crispy. Probably could have been in even longer but it turned out good and my kids liked it. Will buy again!

I absolutely love this orange chicken. I made it this time in the air fryer and it came out delicious. Such a good flavor.

Good stuff, not the over breaded eraser sized chicken provided in most Chinese restaurant Orange Chicken. The sauce however is bland not "tangy". It needs help. I added 1 Tbsp honey, 1 tsp Apple Cider Vinegar and 1/2 tsp Habanero sauce. Now it's "tangy" and delicious.

Typically we love the orange chicken but it appears we purchased a bag that was the bottom of the batch. How can I get this fixed as I didn't save a receipt?

My family recently got a couple of bags of the orange chicken. With the first bag, we prepared the sauce according to the package directions - running under warm water then tossing with the chicken. When we tried the chicken with that sauce, it tasted very tart. It wasn’t bad, but it really wasn’t a flavor that would entice us to buy it again. At that point, my review might have been a 2 or 3-star review. We still had one bag left and weren’t in much of a hurry to try it after trying the first bag. However, we figured we’d get it over with but prepared the sauce differently. We heated the sauce in a frying pan over low heat a few minutes before the chicken was done heating. Once the sauce was hot enough, we took it off the heat and tossed the hot chicken in it. The flavor of the sauce was very different (better) this second time. It wasn’t as tart and surprisingly tasted like the sauce from a national chain’s (PE) orange chicken. Had I not seen both bags myself, I would have thought they were totally different products. I would definitely recommend heating up the sauce and not just warming it as the instructions direct if anyone doesn’t like sour flavors. Also, as other people have mentioned, the sizes of the pieces of chicken were not uniform at all. Overall, we might buy the orange chicken again if the craving hits.

Too many fragments of breading. Chicken was fine, but only half in the package was chicken. The rest was toasted breading crumbs.

Sooo good! The breading to chicken ratio is on point and it definitely does not taste like freezer food it definirlo comparable to what you get at a restaurant it taste very fresh.

How do you heat up the glaze? Or do you let it thaw out and then you use it? The instructions don’t tell you how to use the glaze

I was really not a fan of this. If you want something way better I’d suggest getting the good & gather popcorn chicken, throw it in the air fryer and then coat it with good and gather sesame sauce, wayyyy better quality chicken and much better tasting sauce, equally as easy and quick to make.

I absolutely love this orange chicken I love that I can taste the tanginess, but also sweet taste of it even my 1 year old nephew, loved it
