Alexia Frozen Crispy Vegan Onion Rings - 13.5oz

These used to be so SO good but they changed them. They burn so easily now and they’re not as sweet as they used to be. What is it with companies constantly changing their products if they’re not broke in the first place smh

They are the best frozen onion rings I have had

We have been purchasing for a few years, and noticed sometime around June 2025 that the packaging changed. I also believe that the onion and coating recipe has changed. Did you change the Recipe when you changed the Packaging?? I used to be able to detect "real" onion, and now I barely can taste any. Seems to now be focusing way too much on the "crunch" with whatever that coating is, and now it is ALL crunch and no onion. I came here to find Ingredients listing, and I cannot even find that.

I've been buying these for years even though they are very expensive. I've found the onion to be almost non existent now, it's really just breading. I was disappointed to learn these are pre-fried, I always had the impression I was eating healthier baked onion rings but I guess not. Will stop buying these.

Based on reviews, I had high hopes for these onion rings. Unfortunately, what hasn't been mentioned in the reviews is that they are overwhelmingly sweet. I looked at the ingredients and they use sweet Spanish onions; live & learn, now I know that this isn't something I like. But for anyone who might've enjoyed them, there isn't much onion in these! One skinny, anemic little "ring"; the rest is breading. Definitely not something I would recommend.

Cooked them in my air fryer less time than on the directions. Overdone and burned. Nasty.

I bought your frozen plain onion rings out of desperation at a local grocery store. I had been unable to find any restaurant near me that had onion rings, and the reliable source, Burger King, shut down forever at UDC Metro station. Even on sale, I felt that the cost was much too high, especially given the stingy amount of contents. The rings themselves were pretty much just breading, not enough onion, and the breading bland at that. I'm not alone, read your reviews. Cost and value matter, and they matter a LOT. What really convinced me to never buy your products ever again, though was the "virtue signaling" on the back of the package. It's great that you source from regenerative agriculture, but bragging about it just comes off as creepy. That space could have been better used to print LARGER cooking instructions for those of us who are older and have to wear glasses. If you want to "save the planet" put larger portions in the bag and sell for a lower price.

Just finished eating these onion rings. They are all breading and no onion. Will definitely not buy again.

We’re big fans of the sweet potato fries from this brand and thought we’d give these a try. They are SO GOOD! Super crunchy and the breading isn’t too thick. I cooked them in the oven for 15 minutes and they came out perfectly crispy. We’ll definitely be keeping a bag of these in the freezer. My only complaint is they don’t give very many in the bag for the price.

My favorite store bought onion rings!

Had moderate hopes for something decent. Lots of crispy flavorless breading. No onion taste, nor any detectable onions within. Along the line of bad fast food onion rings. Nobody at the table ate more than one and the rest were thrown a way. Maybe an 8 year old would like these?

They are easy to burn and somehow chewy while being too crunchy

I almost hesitate to say how much I like these. They are fantastic!!! I have tried other brands, and some of them are okay, but the Alexia brand of onion rings are my favorite!!! Buy at least 2 packages though... every time I tell people about these, they start disappearing off the shelves! I'd put them against Sonics onion rings any day. Cook them in the oven or air fryer and they can be a terrific side, or, if you're like me, these can be the main meal!!! So very tasty, and value for your money compared to buying onion rings from fast food places.

I've been eating these for years. Now I have my mother asking for them and she hates onions. She removes onions from her food. They are the best frozen onion rings I've ever eaten and better than onion rings you order in most restaurants. Thank you for selling an excellent product.

As a dairy-free household we are always excited to enjoy these dairy-free onion rings. Other brands contain dairy so the Alexia product is a huge win! The panko breadcrumb makes them extra crispy and they stay crisp over time - delicious fresh out of the oven, and still delicious when cleaning up after they have been sitting out.

Bought these for the first time Terrible. All breading and a tony sliver of onion. Not good.
