The OXO Compact Toilet Brush with Holder is the fuss-free way to keep your bathroom clean. The canister door opens as you lift the brush and automatically closes when you replace it. The internal drip tray features ventilation slots that allow excess water to evaporate. Very smart design!
This toilet brush is great. I love that it is designed to cover the brush fully when not in use - this keeps dust from accumulating in the brush head, and looks much nicer. The fact that the brush cover automatically opens and stays open is great, It also does a good job of getting the toilet clean, which is its main function! :)

Love this toilet brush/canister. It makes cleaning your toilet just a little bit easier. I especially love the storage factor of it because it keeps the toilet brush isolated from outside elements that might attach to the brush. I don’t have to worry about my dog being able to get to the brush. Plus it looks nice with the decoration of my bathroom. The bristles on the brush are very sturdy. The handle has a great grip.

Honestly, I didn’t think I’d care this much about a toilet brush, but the OXO GG Compact one is kinda elite. It’s super sleek, doesn’t take up much space, and the canister opens and closes like magic—no gross drips. It makes cleaning feel... weirdly satisfying?

It leaks!!
I bought this to replace another OXO toilet brush/holder that had broken after a few years. This one is very disappointing. The brush is fine but the holder leaks. It’s quite disgusting. I will be replacing it with another of the original that I had, which is a bit more expensive, but worth it.

Brush is great, brush holder is baaad
I love how sleek this brush looks. But there isn’t a proper way to let the brush holder dry out. Water collects at the bottom and drips disgusting toilet juice when it gets tipped the wrong way. Not only that but the screws at the bottom have rusted and it gets all gunky because there’s no good way to clean it or let it dry out!

Looks nice...until it doesn't
It’s a nice brush and I love the idea of the brush being completely enclosed when in the holder, but the holder has metal screws that rust and the bottom of my brush holder is covered in rust, but it looks like something else…another reviewer mentioned keeping the brush and finding a different holder for it, I will probably do that as well, but I’m tossing the base/holder on trash day this week.

Rust starts dripping out of the bottom of the holder and stains the white floor tiles and grout. It is good if you want to use it for less than a year and then replace it.

Rusty Yuck
Loved it until the screws starting rusting and made the plastic all brown. Seems like it’s an area that’s obviously going to get wet-why leave screws exposed. I bought 2 of these too - wish i hadn’t as it wasnt cheap. Ordering a wall mounted canister and hope I can keep using the brushes (which have a nice handle).

OXO Toilet Brush Review
I like the firmness of the brush. Its made the way that I need for it to be able to scrub my toilet and feel that its gotten a great scrub and a great cleaning. I also like that the storage container opens easily by just pulling up on the brush and stays open until you finish and replace the brush and it closes as you push the brush back inside.

Awkward handle
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Okay pros, love how the brush has a nice base dish that pops open to easily remove the brush and when you are done set it back in and the base closes. Hard to explain but it’s really cool. Never have to touch the brush. Also the brush gets in all the spots. Cons the hand is not really ergonomically comfortable for the job that needs done. It’s awkward.
