I like a hint of coconut, but they shouldn't even advertise it as pear. it's straight coconut. Works great so if you like strong coconut you'll probably love it.

I was on the hunt for a coconut chap stick. I was hoping the pear wouldn’t be super strong, but it’s definitely noticeable. The pear just ruins it. However, I love the feel of Burt’s Bees chapstick, it’s moisturizing and not sticky!

Flavor wasn't accurate
Really didn't care for the flavor/consistency. It had a kind of bitter aftertaste. I was looking forward to a pear flavor, and it just wasn't there. I also didn't taste any coconut. I was really disappointed bc the passion fruit lip oil tastes so much like passion fruit. I wanted a more solid consistency so have this a try and ultimately returned it

Burt’s Bees Coconut & Pear = Summer in a Tube
This chapstick is everything. The scent? To. Die. For. Like, I legit find myself reapplying just to smell it again. It’s got solid SPF coverage (protect that pout 😘), and the texture is so smooth—it glides on like butter without being greasy. It’s giving hydrated, protected, and slightly addicted. 10/10 recommend. 💄🌞

STEAR CLEAR OF COCNUT PEAR
Please be careful using Burt’s moving forward! I bought this a few weeks back and broke out in pustules and hives on my lips. I believed it to be a fruit allergy- but today, my friend who bought the coconut pair sent me a photo where her lips did the same USE AT YOUR OWN RISK. My lips were burning, leaking, and chapped for over a week after.

Rash and hives - NEW FORMULA
I’ve been buying Burt’s for years. About 3 weeks ago, I bought the coconut pear chapstick to use. My lips broke out in painful burning pustules and it took over a week to clear up. I thought it was a new fruit allergy, but TODAY I used it again- SAME HAPPENING. My lips are burning and leaking and breaking out in pustules. PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS PRODUCT! My husband had the same thing happen!! No longer the same formula!

Horrible smell
Moisturizing for only a bit then wears off quickly. And the SMELL. Smells like nail polish remover, it’s awful!

Moisturizing
Just as the package says, the coconut oil really moisturizes chapped dry lips that doesn’t evaporate quickly like other lip balms. It leaves a slight white oily tinge if you apply too much. The scent is accurate but not sickeningly sweet.

The good and the bad....
Thge ONLY lip balm, including other Burt's Bees, that stops the oncoming hives around my lips after eating most foods.Bothers me how much waste from not being able to get to the bottom of the tube as the screw mechanism disconnects from the base of the stick and cannot raise the end of the product to use it. And I think its too expensive! But for me, the Hemp works and I'm a loyal customer.
