GREAT PRODUCT
I decided to try almond butter, just out of curiousity, as an alternative to peanut butter. When I saw this one also had vanilla, one of my favorite flavors and scents, as well, I was hooked, and it doesn't disappoint. The almond butter itself would be good alone, but the addition of vanilla definitely kicks it up a notch. I really like it, and, despite the expense, will probably cintinue to use it.

Formula change - not for the better
Was my go-to almond butter brand and flavor for years until the new formulation: tastes/feels more oily. No longer the slightly sweet, mildly vanilla flavor.it once had. What a real shame.

This used to be a superb product, with a unique, sweet, mild vanilla taste. I bought two jars recently only to discover a stale, oily taste. At first I thought it was a jar that hadn't been stored properly since the expiration date was fine, but discovered the same thing with a jar brought at a different location. It tastes as if the oil is different, pretty objectionable taste, and sure enough I read that's exactly the change. With a lot of effort I tried to mix the oil in well - improved the taste a little bit, but it's nowhere near the tasty product it used to be. Guessing it's because it's a cheaper ingredient to use? It tastes that way. Wish I could recommend it to others still - I used to rave about it, but no more. Shame when companies tinker with a product that doesn't need to be tinkered with.

Recipe change
This was my favorite almond butter, and I'm so disappointed at the change in recipe. It tastes so bad now, is full of oil. Please bring back the old recipe.

Why palm oil?
I have severe histamine intolerance so I bought this almond butter instead of peanut butter, But from every study I read is not healthy. Why did they use it such a pure product?

Added sugar, sweeter than the original. They add powdered sugar. Not to my liking buy the original!!

Why change (RUIN) the recipe?
For years this used to be my absolute favorite almond. It had a mild sweet flavor with the somewhat runny texture that drizzles off the spoon. THEN all of a sudden I found it to be THICK and actually has a nasty flavor. I've tried 3-4 different jars. No luck anymore finding the ORIGINAL almond butter I used to love. Won't be buying this crap ever again. Just plain nasty.

Taste is not what I expected
Just bought your product and I hate to say it but I was so disappointed because it was as though it was rancid. The best by date was Feb 07 2025 so not sure why it would taste like that unless that's the taste of almond butter.

Oily and not the same
The vanilla almond butter used to be thick and robust in vanilla flavor, I would eat it with a knife right out of the jar. Now it is oily with only a hint of vanilla. I am suspicious to decrease cost that they decreased the amount of vanilla powder. But regardles, no better than off brands and not worth the cost. I did contact the company and they offered to send me coupons. No thanks, I will not buy it again and am thowing away this jar.

This is good but they should add to the bottle that this needs to be mixed and that sometimes customers may need to add olive oil to it to smooth it out. Some batches are dry and some are very creamy, so please disclose that in the bottle. Overall it is very tasty and goes well on toast, waffles and fruit. I wish the bottle was larger for the price you pay.

I love this vanilla almond butter. I'll drive everywhere to find it. It's amazing for smoothies. I confess I eat a very small amount NOT in a smoothie, but the taste is perfect. I hope they never stop making it. It IS usually a real bear to stir. Major wrist workout. I still love it. It's also pretty darn expensive. I'm assuing there's a reason - but again, have been buying for years.

Too oily
Use to love this almond butter. BUT they changed recipe and it is so oily. If you manage to get it stirred up by next day you have to do it all over again. I tried storing upside down after mixing but ended up with oil all over my counter. Been a loyal customer for many years, not any more.
