Born on a 175-mile bike ride, CLIF BAR energy bars are purposefully crafted with a mix of protein, fat, and carbohydrates to help sustain active bodies before and during long-lasting activity. CLIF BAR energy bars are made with quality ingredients like wholesome organic rolled oats and no high-fructose corn syrup, and they are non-GMO and plant-based for a granola bar you can feel good about. As part of the CLIF brand mission, our 2 LEED certified bakeries and Emeryville, CA office run with the help of on-site solar arrays and/or offset electricity through the purchase of renewable energy credits (RECs). Dry, bland tasteless. New formula?
I recently picked up a box at my local Publix having not had this flavor for a minute. What happened? Is this a new formula? These used to be sweet like a chocolate chip cookie but now they taste like sawdust! Upon some cursory research it appears Clif bar was recently bought out so I guess I'm not surprised the quality has gone down. Also, what is with the deceptive badging on the box--"now 10 bars!" The boxes used to have 12 bars. Now they are advertising less bars like it's a feature. This seems like a deliberate way to mislead shoppers who don't buy them regularly. Won't be purchasing Clif products anymore.

Clif have reduced the count of bars per box (6 to 5, 18 to 15 and so on) but they raised the price on the larger counts in the months leading up to this so that now these smaller boxes cost as much as the larger ones used to. They lable the packaging as if it's *more* than it used to be.

Ruined the recipe. I don’t know what you did but these are now the most disgusting bar on the market. Soy and oil 🤢🤢 so bitter and I become physically I’ll when I try to eat these. I’ve never had a box of bars sit in the house untouched.
