Helped me big time
I highly recommend this book. When I was going through difficult time I think this book was very helpful. I followed his baby steps and I know others who have and helped them get through & continue to be on the path. I even got a CD book as a gift to my stepson who is 22. I have used snowball effect and it works, but I have to admit it’s our spending habits that gets us in trouble the most. That is the hardest change and for me personally. This book is always a good reminder what to do. Protecting 4 walls was my priority at the time and really matters at the most difficult financial times. Get the book - it will change your aspect on financial goals.

I feel like saying, “this book is life changing” would be seen as dramatic, but it truly is. It has given my husband and I a whole new look to our finances. Debt Free is the Way to Be!!!
I bought this book as a wedding gift for a friend because I want them to start their marriage off on the right foot. Finances are stressful and are one of the top (or even the #1) reason for divorce. My husband and I had previously read this book (checked out from the library) and followed the simple that Dave Ramsey lays out. We are now debt free and aren't living paycheck to paycheck and stressed out if a large repair comes along. We've been able to save up an emergency fund as well as a fund to purchase a car for cash. I would highly recommend this book to everyone, even if you think you know it all.
