Early California Large Pitted California Ripe Olives 6 oz. Can. No Artificial Colors. Non GMO. How do we make the most delicious, natural-ingredient ripe olive? Well, we start with the best trees, from the best orchards in California, growing the best variety of olive — the mighty manzanilla. Then we add nothing but water and sea salt. No additives, preservatives, or artificial colors. Unlike traditional olives, these new Pearls are not treated with ferrous gluconate, preserving the olives’ natural brown-black color. Our “fresh cure” technique is simply the best way to make the most delicious “clean label” olive possible. Ideal for all your meal (pizza, pasta, salads), charcuterie board, and snacking needs.   • A: What you’re seeing is a natural emulsion of water and olive oil, and it’s not harmful or a sign of spoilage. Oil levels vary by olive variety and crop year, and cold temperatures or movement during shipping can cause this to appear in the can. Our quality team works hard to ensure consistency, but it can occasionally happen. You can rinse the olives in warm water using a strainer to remove the residue. Thank you!
