A: Yes, but first test a small area using a cotton swab to see the results. Some frames could be coated with another material such as a protective sealant of lacquer to prevent tarnishing and this could interfere and react with our formula. You can also use our Silver Polishing Cloth or Jewelry Wipes to polish the frame.

I was about to get rid of this set then decided to try and clean it first. WOW!! I did not expect it to look this good again. This product did a great job. I highly recommend for silver jewelry cleaning. The only change I would recommend is a shorter bristle on the brush so the jewelry doesn’t get lost in it while cleaning.

This is not a good product! They had a liquid jewelry cleaner for silver that worked fantastic. This cream cleaner is not as it promised. I do not recommend it. It’s like a toothpaste and does not clean silver jewelry. Look for the liquid cleaner. Don’t waste your money on this product.

Works great. Since sterling silver DIP cleaner ruins gemstone jewelry I prefer this cleaner because I can control what parts are cleaned. It is VERY difficult to get the cleaner out of that horribly thick, little bottle though. I do enjoy keeping everything in the cup provided. Sterling Silver cleaning requires warm water, and the brush provided works nicely as you buff away the tarnish under warm water. Dry it properly afterwards of course. You have to know how to clean your jewelry not just drop it into cleaning liquid. Took a star off because of the terribly difficult squeeze of the bottle.

This is a cream in a hard to squeeze bottle. You don't soak your jewelry like you would with the liquid dip. You squeeze out a drop on your jewelry and use the soft bristle brush. Handling your jewelry while trying to brush it is messy, and time consuming, especially when you find the results are poor in the end. I would stick with the dip. This cream was twice the cost of the dip.
