It was very easy to put together and seems very sturdy.

Shelf is pretty sturdy, though some o the black finish was scratched in a few places. The shelf spacing is perfect to fit 2 of those cube organizer bins on each shelf. Y-weave bins from Target also look really nice on the shelves. Pretty easy to put together as well.

Simple metal bookshelf, but costs a lot for what it actually is. Huge dent in the frame too, but due to targets refund policies I can’t just get a partial refund for getting a damaged, but working, product.

I got this for my kids play room, works great to get the toys up off the floor and organized a bit! Quick and easy assembly.

I love this item and it fits great in my son's college bedroom. It is high quality and add lots of storage.

This black metal bookcase is perfect for my needs. It was super easy to assemble, just screw everything together and snap on the five shelves and you’re finished. It’s very heavy duty. I have a lot of books and it holds all of them firmly. Very please overall. One minor complaint is that the paint on one of the sides at the top is dull and not as shiny black as the entire piece. (Reason for only four stars) But it’s not really noticeable.

I purchased two 5 shelf and one 3 shelf for my home office/library. I filled one of the five shelf ones up with my hardcover books and it began to wobble. I wasn't sure if it was going to hold and was afraid it would topple over. The picture makes it look strong but in actuality it is not the strongest metal. It was easy to assemble once you figured out how to read the directions. By the third one I assembled I had a system. I took the shelf rods and support rods and screwed them to one side after putting the side together. Be sure to have the bottom side half with the five holes on the five shelf one all go towards the back. The instructions did not have any written instructions just pictures and numbers. With the 3 shelf one it wasn't a problem. I think these shelves would be best in a child or teenagers room to store toys and light items. I am going to re-purpose the ones I bought for my craft room to store yarn and lighter items instead since I cannot return them now.

Well made and very sturdy. Easy to put together. Much better than similar shelves made of "wood". Another design plus are the enclosed sides (things don't fall off). Very pleased with this purchase!

Also each shelf prevents books from falling through because it is stamped metal with just tiny holes. Much better than slats/bars. Sturdy and easy to put together.

Not real sturdy, arrived with one shelf bent. We bent it back and it is okay but can still sort of see where it bent. It looks really nice but the quality of this shelf does not seem like a $70+ shelf. I would expect this from a $30-ish shelf. Not very impressed. Already put together and daughter has it full of books so we will keep it but not that impressed.

These are very strong; easy to put together and take apart; easy to spray paint; and they can handle the weight of being full of books. Some of the ads state that the shelves are brown, but they are indeed black. These are great when it comes time to move because you can disassemble them and then they'll take up very little space.

I ordered four of these shelves and only ONE of them had all the pieces. And the other THREE were missing all of the poles needed to put together - there should of been 15 in EACH. So mad. Taking them back to store. Cheap cheap cheap.
