Not my favorite
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This wasn’t bad, texture wise it felt authentic. I wasn’t a fan of the flavor. It was spicy which was nice, but watery. I didn’t taste everything, I mixed it up and made sure I got everything. The spicy was there but nothing else.

It’s hard for me to come by a salsa that claims it’s HOT when it’s really not and just had an overpowering tomato taste instead of that specific salsa taste I love. Welp… Mateos has that. I LOVE spicy stuff. So when I say this salsa had a KICK to it, just be warned that for a “normal” persons mouth … it’d probably feel like your tongue was in the deepest infernos of hell. (LOL). I would definitely recommend this salsa to anyone looking to try a new salsa. But possibly go to the less spicy version if you don’t do well with the heat!
