Fun in the Kitchen
Very pleased with this kitchen set. It looks real with its microwave, fridge, oven, storage space, etc. My grandkids went right to it & enjoyed it right away. I bought it to use with the Melissa & Doug shopping cart for the full kitchen experience! The quality is pretty good. It appears to be thin plywood but that keeps it light, realistic & reasonably well priced. It was not difficult to assemble, another plus.

Quality kitchen
A great product! I’m so happy with my 4 yr old son’s kitchen! Once delivered, the box is a 2-person lift, it was surprisingly heavy, I was able to slide it in and luckily didn’t have to go far. Be warned, make sure to allow adequate time to put this together i.e. not Christmas Eve. This was easy to put together and instructions were easy to follow, there is just lots to put together. It easily took me 2 hours by myself (I’m not handy) and all that was needed was a screwdriver and some patience/breaks. I’m so happy with the end result and the quality seems good. My son loves it, the ice maker is a hit! I only wish I had bought more to go along with it as nothing is included. I would recommend.

Dangerous
Fiberglass!!!! All over the whole set. The box was covered in it and each panel had to be wiped down many times. For how much it is we shouldn’t have to worry about that!!!

The way the styrofoam is cut so that it can protect the individual pieces sometimes leaves threads that one might mistake for fiberglass. One mistake ruined the whole thing.
A single piece was messed up (a groove wasn’t cut in the correct area), so it threw off the entire assembly. We’ll exchange it and I’ll update the review if the new one is OK.

The quality of this is amazing. I own(grandma) the KidKraft ultimate corner kitchen. I decide to get the Melissa and Doug kitchen for my grandsons for Christmas this year. The quality compared to KidKraft is amazing. I highly recommend this product. The over and fridge both have shelf in them, the fridge ice making actually comes with 2 ice cubes and they come out when cup pushes for refill. Oven buttons make clicking sounds when you turn them. I am going to be adding my own picture behind the piece that attaches to the freezer door something for a boys kitchen since its for my grandsons. Love this product. Now to hide it until Christmas, put it together early to make sure nothing was missing or broke.

Not very Durable..
This kitchen is completely broken and we only had it a few months, the little counter top edge snapped off and the wood chipped off where the metal pins were supposed to sit for many of the doors.. it has only the two upper doors still working. would not buy again

Good looking but flawed
This kitchen is very cute, authentic looking, and well designed from a visual perspective. However, it was very difficult to build, even with 2 capable adults, and even though the instructions were very clear. So many parts! A couple of pieces were cracked and a couple others cracked in the process of building. We could not complete the kitchen and will have to return it. It’s a shame. Perhaps M & D could simplify the design and make some of the parts more sturdy/less flimsy.
