Got what I bought.

Lots of books need a home.

Missing a cam screw hole on "G" and picture is backwards on "D". Doesn't match why I saw online

Easy to assemble and sturdy bookcase. Salt Oak finish is very nice, I have several pieces (now discontinued) from over 5 years ago and the new bookcase matches perfectly. I wish it was a bit taller than 30 inch, 34-35 high would be perfect.

Came together very nicely and easily. One cosmetic scratch along the top (I covered it with remaining stickers) but otherwise looks great.

I love all of the bookshelves I've gotten from Sauders. They're heavy duty, very nice quality, not hard to put together and look great. This time however I got one with some cracked laminate and a bent board. This particular shelf was destined for closet storage so its not a huge deal, but definitely disappointing.

Easy to follow assembly instructions. Right end panel was slightly mismeasured during production resulting in a small gap between top of panel and top piece

It's the perfect fit for our area!

Holding all my grandson's books for when he visits

Some of the assembly pegs were too short. Front top edge was worn way, about an inch long. This was due to shipping, I'm sure.

It was very easy to assemble. The finished product is a great product for the price paid. A+.

I've been eyeing this cabinet for over two years. I finally purchased it in July. The shipping box is heavy, so consider having help or placing it in a room where it is easy to maneuver. The assembly was clear and concise. Which means I had no parts left over. The look is grand and works well in any room. I used it for my old albums, but they only fit upright on one shelf. All in all, it was worth the purchase. The only negative: while installing the albums on the shelf, one of the peg holes cracked. It was impossible to reuse the same hole. Therefore, I cannot use one shelf for the albums.

Solid bookcase that looks great

Needed to store/house a lot of large art books, and this worked nicely. Relatively easy to assemble. The finish on the edges could be better as some were scratched and nicked.

Assembly suggestions: I purchased two bookcases and the second went together much easier than the first. Experience helps. I did not see the pilot holes in the back on the first unit. I therefore tried to get the reveals even on all four sides. That resulted in screws and nails being difficult to insert. On the second unit I screwed in one of the pan head screws until it protruded slightly, then moved the back around until the screw tip hit the pilot hole in the back brace. THEN I racked the bookcase and found that all the screws found their pilot holes without any trouble. Same for the nails. Pilot holes made nailing them MUCH easier. You might mention the pilot holes in the instruction booklet. I wish I had seen them before I started assembly. The dowels are good for positioning parts, but do not contribute to strengthening the assembly. Had I been thinking, before starting work I would have slipped a piece of paper into the hole for the dowel to create a tight fit. Even better would have been a slip of paper, a few drops of wood glue, and a clamp overnight before assembling the parts containing dowels. As it was, the back brace just would not fit tight to the top. Gluing in the dowels would have prevented this problem. Another hidden cam in the middle of the back brace might work as well, but that would mean changing the production process. Just mentioning the glue/paper/clamp option in the instruction book could help buyers avoid the problem I had with the back brace not fitting tight to the top. That said, neither of the above problems affected the look of the bookcases. They are considerably better looking than most of the shelves I have purchased in the past. The front moldings really give them a factory-finished look.

I add this piece to my office and it looks very professional and maintains a sharp look for my office.

Instructions were easy to understand. It went together well and looks great. I am beyond pleased.
