A few years ago, I had my first Tate’s cookie: it was an Oatmeal Raisin. Today, I remain a devout and admittedly addicted Tate’s Oatmeal cookie consumer! Crunchy, not overly sweet (as many otherwise good cookies are prone to be). and simply yummy, I eat at least a couple of them just about every day. A year (or more) ago, I became aware that the company had been sold and I immediately worried that these cookies would not be as good any more. As it turns out, my concerns were unwarranted. One bag sent open.....
Out of two bags of Tate’s cookies that arrived (in their own little box) the bag of Oatmeal was wide open. The other one, a seasonal flavor of white chocolate and raspberry was closed nice and tight. Someone intentionally opened the other bag. I don’t appreciate that at all. I wiped down the 2 sealed packs inside of the bag with a disinfectant wipe. My guess is that someone thought they could gain easy access to the cookies if they just opened the bag (an easy thing to do) then once open the realized the cookies were sealed in plastic. Don’t think I’ll be purchasing these from you anymore.

Yes it's a crunchy cookie. And yes the package states that. Expect the crunchiness of a chips ahoy or Oreo but also expect a better cookie than either of them. I taste the oatmeal and raisins. I tasted a little butter maybe some flour. Taste like a cookie that I bought in a fancy little bakery and let it sit on the counter for a couple of days before enjoying. It's crunchy. It's good.
