Target.com has cheated my purchase - two of my cards failed to redeem. I called the number from the back of the card 855-302-1721 and they said the cards has $0 value. So I paid each with $42.12 & $42.13 all are cheated. I am considering to talk to the California Consumer Affairs to get my complaint filed. Now this is how bad Target card is protecting themselves in a way to cheat us the consumer. Their web interface has no way to file a dispute so basically I am screwed. So my suggestion for you people if you are reading this review!! you may still sign in as a target member to take advantage of the sales (those buy a card and get 10% off the second card equal value) but when paying for it, NEVER use the Red Card again but use other credit card to pay such as Citi bank .. Bank of America because I bet those Bank credit cards offer way better way to dispute a charge when it goes south!!!!

Totally sheer utter frustration!
Don’t purchase these Cricket service payment refill cards! Cricket makes it impossible to redeem these cards purchased from Target. So, now I’m out $25 as I can’t redeem the card I purchased. And, Target will play the give-you-the-runaround game as they won’t give you a refund, nor will they rectify this issue with their cards.

Didn't receive order and the customer service is trash
I didn’t receive my order and requested that the cards be re-sent. However, I still haven’t received them, so I requested a refund. The customer service agent (named Chaitra) ended the chat directly. I’ve been a Target customer for over 10 years and am extremely disappointed. I will never shop here again.

Faulty card doesn't work!
Target sold me a faulty gift card that only has a 16 digit redemption number when Cricket stipulates it must be either 10 or 17 digits. They won't refund me for their screw up. Worst customer service ever.

Stolen or bad refill card
I ordered 2 $50 cricket refill cards in April on the 27th and I went to redem them and I got 2 different text messages from my carrier saying paid was good now it's May 4th and I get a new text messages telling me I still owe $50 to cricket wireless.. I have call phone company they tell me the one card was refunded by the carrier I got it from so called target they have me the run around and then gave a number that they are the only ones that can call and take care of things. So now am out $100 on phone cards because I can't get my other $ 50 from the one good refill cards.. or I pay other $50 to my phone carrier to have service. No matter how you look at it am out 100 or 150 thanks to the stores.

Invalid card with a bunch of hassle.
I was sent a card that only gave me system errors on the cricket website. Then I had to spend hours on the phone and in online chat to be told that target is having issues with these cards. Why are they selling them if the paying customer doesn't get what they are paying for? Thankfully I was issued a refund, but it was a bunch of hassle for nothing. I was just trying to take advantage of the 15% off sale. I even called guest services before. I went forward with a purchase. With concerns about reviews of receiving invalid cards, and I was assured that I would receive what I paid for. Same robotic statements from online chat. At least I got a refund, but never again.

I ordered two cards. One worked, the other has 0 value. Called Target three times and spent over an hour talking to customer service and still didn’t get it resolved. Target customer service representative (Lisa) keeps telling me the card is good and I should contact cricket even though I offered to show Target customer service the prepaid card has 0 value. I asked her if I could talk to a supervisor, she said “I’m the supervisor”. I asked for her full name, she said “Lisa is my full name. I don’t have a last name!”

Please, DONT, DONT, DONT buy the refill cards on Target. Never. Bought 2 today, one did not work. When contacted Target, informed that I should contact Cricket. When I contact Cricket, they tell me that I need to contact Target. So Target is not responsible for what they sell and does not want or cant check the reason with Cricket. Had to waste more than hour on this mess. Will not give up to demand the refund from Target, but it seems like a scam or complete absense of responsibility.

I have been redeeming these gift cards when they are on sale for years. But as of today only 5 of 6 would redeem on cricket wireless. I go out there and I see another review with the exact same issue, so I am adding to the list. If you contact target, they won't help with third party cards. If you contact cricket, they say contact target. You are basically out of the money on one card. Target used to wait to send you the cards for 4 hours. I now notice they come instantly. I cannot help but think there is now a system issue. Regardless, it seems I am now out $40

I buy these every time they are on sale. You can stack as many as you want on your cricket account. I have a 5 person family plan, and when purchased in varied amounts according to what the sale is, I basically get a few free months every year. I don't understand any negative reviews. Possibly that you can't redeem thru the app, log into their website and it will walk you right thru it. Never had an issue and I have loaded 6 months of credit in advance. Even with just my 5% Red Card savings, it adds up to a great discount on something I have to buy sale or not.
