The finish left is matte and not the shiny oily look or rigid. There's not much of a scent. Only downside is the day after if you've left it in, you will have to wash it otherwise itll make your flat

The TIGI Manipulator Matte Hair Wax has a matte hold without any shine, there is a soft pleasant scent that subsided after use, you only need to use a small amount too! I would recommend this product.

I struggled to style my hair and find a gel easier to use. I think this would be better on shorter hair. On the plus side it does wash out well.
