All Ultra Free Clear Odor Relief is wonderful! It works to remove odor from an athletes sweaty clothing and is allergen free.

Works to reduce odor, but with a downside: it leaves a bit of a waxy – or I would say “schmutzy” – feel on clothes. There’s a science behind this. Read on, and I’ll explain. All Free and Clear Odor Relief has the exact same ingredients as All Free and Clear Oxi, except that the Odor Relief formula contains one additional chemical: zinc ricinoleate. This is a chemical that binds to or surrounds odor-producing molecules so that they can’t produce an odor. Think of those products that you spray on clothes to hide odors: same idea, different chemical. Despite being chemically related to ricin (the poison that Walter used to dispose of his enemies in Breaking Bad), zinc ricinoleate is actually an extremely safe compound. It has an EWG rating of 1 (safest possible substance, according to the Environmental Working Group). It is frequently used in whole-body deodorants, because it is considered safer than other traditional deodorant ingredients. But “safe” doesn’t mean “enjoyable”. In its raw form, zinc ricinoleate is kind of a waxy pellet. It isn’t very soluble in water, and it tends to flocculate (that means it clumps together when suspended in water). This explains why zinc ricinoleate can leave a waxy sort of feel on clothes: The particles stick together, and don’t dissolve well even after your washer puts your clothes through two or three rinses. How did I learn all of this? Mostly from Henkel’s patents on odor relief detergent. (Henkel is the manufacturer of All-brand laundry products.) The waxy feel was gone, and the clothes are perfectly clean. This makes sense, since it has exactly the same ingredients as the Odor Relief formula – but minus the zinc ricinoleate.

My go to detergent. You don't need a lot, even for an extra large load, you need maybe 3 tablespoons. Doesn't leave residual detergent on your clothes, does a good job cleaning and deodorizing. I've had this big one for al.ost a year and I do 4 big loads of laundry weekly. I have sensitive skin and this works well.

Excellent results and so glad I found the ONE product that did not add a fragrance. What an odd thing that an odor eliminator would add fragrance. If you want odors eliminated this is the product to use! I’m switching to this product for ALL my laundry. Cleans well and no stinky smells!

I am highly allergic to scents and this is an excellent product that not only doesn’t smell, but also helps get scents/smells out of clothes. Love this detergent and the addition of “Odor Relief” makes it even better. If I could, I would give it 10 stars!

Did a great job on my kids clothes but didnt bother their sensitive skin

I'd been buying All Free & Clear with BOTH Odor Relief AND Stainlifters for well over a year, but can't seem to find it anymore. Has it been discontinued? It looks like the Stainlifters has been removed on the label on every bottle I see now. Thanks for any input.

Love this laundry detergent, have purchased many times and will continue to. The first load of semi stinky towels I washed with this came out smelling so much better and I was sold. We have a HE front loader and don’t need to use a lot of detergent to get good results. I use this to wash my boys’ stinky socks in hot water and it does the trick. Everyone wants to use scented products to cover up the smell of their laundry, I would rather wash it away with an unscented detergent.

Only detergent I can use for my dishydrotic eczema. Otherwise even touching the clothes to fold them irritates my hands. I miss having a nice scent but oh well. I like this specific kind over the oxi clean one because my husband has sweaty clothes he comes home with from taking walks on a trail near his work on his lunch break that he stuffs in a gym bag to change back into his work clothes so in the summer especially they can stink lol. This detergent handles the odors, sometimes I do need to add a sprinkle of baking soda to the washing machine if he forgot them in his bag overnight. Overall recommend.
