Love this piece! Super well made, easy to assemble, and very sturdy.

You will need an electric screwdriver driver or drill to assemble. Assemble time accurate with drill . Impossible to hand screw together.Very sturdy and glass shelves fit nicely. Will use to hold cut glass collection.

Sauder for the win! This bookshelf is beautiful. The gold finish is a rich satin finish so it's not shiny/cheap looking. I use it for closet storage. The piece was packaged with every possible protection and well thought out. There are many reviews on how difficult the assembly was. This is not true. ASSEMBLY WAS EASY. Read the directions and use the allen wrench provided and a **DRILL** (or good electric screw driver). Metal to metal connections need to be tight. The holes DO align, it's just almost impossible to use a handheld screw driver and fasten a metal screw into a metal opening with enough torque to get the job done. I read the directions, laid my pieces out and with a DRILL assembled this shelf with no issues at all. Assembly time was 30 minutes. I am a chubby 57 yo mom who carried the box upstairs and assembled by myself. Shelf is perfect, sturdy and pleasing to the eye. I bought at a big retailer and the price was amazing.

When about this I wasn't sure if it was going to look as good in the picture and it does for the price is wonderful because I have prides them quite a while and thank you very much for great product

Product arrived undamaged, which is remarkable considering it has five large glass shelves. It was easy to assemble in less than an hour. With the shelves, it is very stable. Looks perfect!

I purchased this and it was missing apart and some stickers for part identification came off. I called customer service and they did everything to rectify the problem.I especially thank Alex for her extraordinary help in identifying parts and shipping the missing piece.The customer service was absolutely the best. Easy to assemble. Well packaged. Would appreciate a glass plate on the top.

I was looking for something with an Asian vibe and this fit the bill. The screws to attach the shelves would not go all the way in with the Allen wrench so I did have to delicately use a power drill to get them flush. Its very stable and elegant with the glass shelves.

Not Satin Gold. Not Sturdy. Very Disappointed

I've been wanting this style bookshelf for a while and I love it! It looks great in my office. I recommend using a drill instead of a Phillips Screwdriver for steps 3-6.

This is a sturdy and lovely bookcase, just the right size and easy to assemble for one person. I'm using it for the pieces of my audio system, alongside a white transitional corner TV stand. I'm so glad I found this piece and I'd definitely buy it again.

Very easy to assemble. My husband and I assembled it in one hour. My only concern is the holes don't align properly but we were able to get enlarge the holes a little. Very Nice shelf unit I would purchase again if it came in black.

The screws made it a little difficult to assemble, but other than that it’s gorgeous!

Very good assembly instructions. Shelf anchor screws should have been threaded not self tapping for easier assembly.

Once this book case is assembled, it is absolutely gorgeous. However it seems that the slots for the screws might not always align correctly especially if you have successfully screwed in one side, it seems to offset the other. Thankfully, my husband is really amazing at building things so we had the proper tools to help us. Once we figured out the right amount of pressure to apply to make the screws fit, it took about an hour to assemble everything. The directions are great and it was very neatly packaged and labeled.

My wife and I were excited to recieve this, however when trying to assemble, we found the screws do not fit properly and even with all our might, they would not screw in, so we had to resign and leave it in pieces for now. Suggestions?

While it was easy to assemble and looks wonderful, I noticed that the coating on the metal scratched easily, so if you plan on assembling this, do not do it on wood floors. I would have also liked that the glass has some foam to place on the glass or shelves.

Awful. This is not gold, or even brass. It’s a dull brown color. I can’t understand how they made the photo look like they did. Such a pain to return this heavy item.
