Received used book full of scribbled swear words on the pages

I ordered this online, while the book itself is cute every single page had already been scribbled on and the pencil was missing. Some of the pages had very, very foul language scratched into them. I have no idea how a "brand new" book ended up being mailed out completely destroyed. I will be returning it to the store first thing in the morning. I'm very disappointed
