manufacturer ruined a really nice rug by tucking and gluing the ends shut

My review is for the 2' x 3' size rug. I love the pattern and charcoal color of this rug; however, for some reason the manufacturer turned both ends under and glued the folded ends shut shortening the overall length by 3 inches. The rug ends are glued so securely they cannot be unfolded. Important note: all 4 edges have an evenly bound finish prior to tucking the ends under so there is no need to have tucked and glued the ends. The folded/tucked ends doubles the thickness of the rug (on the ends only) causing a trip hazard, plus folded edges creates stress on the weave causing potential points of failure over time. Returning the rug for refund. I have included a photo to show one of the folded/glued ends.

Great color and design

I searched many stores (pier1, world market, rejuvenation, etc) and none of them had a 2x3 rug in a charcoal grey modern look I was needing until I found this one. Thank you Target. I gave this four stars because I wish it was softer and a more natural material. However this outdoor rug feel is doable for our bathroom yet not not uncomfortable per say and it’s a keeper. In case anyone was curious the towels are from world market (sorry target wish you had them).
