Q: What's the RDA (abrasiveness) of this toothpaste?

A: 0-250 is a range meaning anywhere from mildly abrasive to harmful. I'm going to take that non-answer as meaning this toothpaste is probably harmful to enamel.

A: hey! to receive an ada seal of approval, a manufacturer must request that the ada study a specific product and review the research. the process can take a while. we updated the formula in 2023, so it no longer has the ada seal, but the product has been resubmitted for approval.

Don’t buy it! This toothpaste almost ruined my life. I have been suffering for months with swollen gums and sores on the roof of my mouth. Weird allergies and headaches. The only thing I’d changed was my toothpaste! I went back to regular toothpaste and within a week my mouth feels like it’s healing. Stay away!!!

Formula changed
They changed the formula and now I have extremely painful canker sores in a very inconvenient place. The fact this didn’t have SLS was the reason why I switched only for the new formula to give me canker sores again. Why fix what isn’t broken? They also decreased the amount of fluoride by 0.01% and added a ton of new sweeteners that weren’t present before and no longer says ADA accepted

Sensitivity issues & chipping!
I switched to this toothpaste to aim for something a bit more natural. Well, I started having teeth problems after but didn’t connect the dots that it was this toothpaste. Headaches, tooth sensitivity, and even had a tooth chip while using it! I’m the poster child for good dental hygiene, so having these issues really upset me. After switching to another toothpaste, I immediately noticed a change in my sensitivity!

Took This Toothpaste for Granted
I was using this toothpaste for the last year. When I ran out and tried using my mom’s Crest toothpaste, I experienced a plethora of issues within a week such as gum irritation and redness, tooth sensitivity, and a filmy residue on my teeth even after changing my toothbrush. I never experienced any of this while using the Hello toothpaste so I’m switching back to this one bc I clearly took it for granted and never had any issues while using it. I saw my dentist for my yearly checkup when using the Hello toothpaste and she also said I had no issues. It doesn’t taste the best but it’s clearly harmless to your teeth and that can’t be said for the other Big Dental brands

Teeth pain and headaches
Although it has good ingredients, from the day I started using this toothpaste my teeth started to hurt and the pain continued towards my temples leading to severe continuous headaches. The pain was so severe I had to take multiple acetaminophen pills. The day I switched back to my old toothpaste the pain eventually subsided. I would never recommend it to anyone.

Favorite Toothpaste
I have used this toothpaste for a couple of years now. It doesn’t contain SLS which tends to give me a dry mouth. No problems using this! It has a refreshing minty taste. Even my husband has switched over to this.

Contains titanium dioxide
Description states no titanium dioxide, but the packaging clearly shows titanium dioxide as an ingredient. I was looking for a toothpaste without titanium dioxide - which is BAD STUFF. It’s actually banned in Europe because it’s been linked to organ damage and cancer. Please update the description. I would not call this toothpaste a healthy alternative.
