Q: Can you connect 2 strands together? How do you turn them off? Can you buy a bulb replacement if one burns out? What kind of battery is used?

A: If one light bulb burns out the set will still work but you can not replace the bulbs, also because it is battery operated you can not connect multiple strands together.
