    Moth larvae in 2 bags!

    Found moth larvae the last 2 times I purchased this dog food. The first time I didn’t notice right away and larvae started crawling up to the ceiling and my dog got really sick with bad diarrhea and vomiting after eating some. Thankfully the second time I saw them right away and disposed of it and got a refund. Did my research and this has been an ongoing issue with Purina. Will never buy this brand again!

    I tried the Purina ONE SmartBlend Natural Digestive & Probiotic Health Rice and Chicken Flavor Dry Dog Food, hoping it would help support my dog’s digestion, especially since it’s marketed as gentle and probiotic-focused. Unfortunately, in my experience, it had the opposite effect. After switching to this food, my dog became very sick and ended up vomiting multiple times, including what looked like small traces of blood. It was extremely concerning and not something I’ve ever dealt with before when feeding him other foods. I’m not saying this will happen to every dog, but for mine, it clearly did not agree with his stomach at all. I stopped using it immediately and went back to monitoring his diet closely after that episode. Overall, while the ingredients and idea behind the formula sound good on paper, I personally would not use it again based on how severely my dog reacted to it.

    Gassy dog

My vet suggested to try the Purina One Digestive Health and it has decreased his gas. He still lets it rip but it isn’t nearly as stinky
