You can either use the tabs over the curtain rod or slide the curtain rod through the rod pocket. You also have the option to hang these panels from your rod with clip rings. When it comes time for cleaning, you may be happy to know that it is safe to machine wash and tumble dry. Just be sure to follow all the care instructions on the label. Perfect size and I love the way they look in my dining room. The pattern matches up well, so when the curtains are closed it fits together like one piece, as it should. I'd honestly give it a 4.5 if I could. The only negative thing I'd say about it is, the material/stitching could be a bit stronger. I did wash it on a gentle cycle and tumble dry before hanging up, and there were a couple places that the threads snagged or loosened. Nothing that ruins the integrity, though. The price is probably accurate for the quality, especially since it is a set. Overall, they are lovely curtains and I would purchase again.

I had to give these 1 star because while they are lovely, they are actually 82" long not 84". This left an awkward 2" gap at the bottom so I have to return.
