Description

Avoid having excess ethernet cable lying around by building your own cables to the exact length needed using this bulk ethernet copper cable from Monoprice!

This 1000 foot roll of unshielded (UTP) cat6 cable uses solid conductors and features 500MHz bandwidth capacity. Solid conductors have slightly better electrical properties than stranded conductors, making solid cables well suited for use in permanent, in-wall installations and for longer cable runs. This cable carries a CMR fire safety rating, which means that it is safe for use within the walls and between the floors of commercial buildings.

Monoprice cat5e and cat6 cables are made of 100 percent bare copper wire, as opposed to copper clad aluminum (CCA) wire, and are therefore fully compliant with UL Code 444 and National Electrical Code TIA-568-C.2 fire and safety standards, which require pure bare copper wire in cat5e and cat6 communications cables.

    Cable is hood, center blue plastic spool wheel snapped into shard apparently in shipping? just noticed this after ripping of the cardboard circle pull out. Hope none of the cables are damaged, but overall good quality

    Out of the 7 -1000' cat6 cable ordered, 4 of the boxes the feed cones were broke and caused kicking when pulling out for feeding. Pain in the rear end.

    Decent cable, box terrible

    I am a little baffled by all of the raving reviews. I bought 4 of these, and 2 of them the interior blue plastic ring broke. This is through normal use. So once it breaks, you have to remove it because it has sharp edges and will cut the cable. Then you get nothing but kinks as you try to pull. I've had multiple runs ruined because of a kink getting it out of the box. Unsatisifed.

    Good cable for household wiring.

    Easy to work with. Sheathing allowed me to pull through various holes in framing easily. Connections were easy, and solid. Great throughput on my network. Lost one star because the cabling was wrapped in a way that kinked the cable in the box every-so-many-feet. I had to go forcefully pull the cable to get more length until the next kink. I wasn’t going long distances so going back to the box wasn’t difficult, however it was troublesome since I was pulling the cables by myself. A minor con in the overall experience and it appears to be a big improvement over previous comments about how cable was packaged and delivered in the past.

    Cat6 for Cameras

    Ran this wire in my attic for a camera security system. Works perfectly and was so easy to pull from the box. Ran it over many other communication and high voltage wires with no interference.

    High-quality cable

    This is the good stuff, made with solid copper wire. Laying cable is a pain in the butt. Do it once and do it right. I have multiple 100'+ runs of gigabit ethernet and this cable performs perfectly.
