Description
Right angle banana plugs make speaker installations easy. They are designed for use with amplifiers or speakers that use binding posts in spaces where a traditional banana plug will not fit. The right angle nature of these banana plugs minimizes the risk of cross terminal contact that may cause shorts. These high quality plugs are the closed screw type and can accept bare speaker wire from 12 to 18 AWG. Each pair comes with one plug color coded red and the other coded black, for easy polarity identification. The plug body is made of copper fitted with a ferromanganese tip. The entire plug is then plated with gold to help prevent corrosion.

Good value & quality, work perfect.
Highly recommended! Then insulators are rubber and slip on?no need to screw a plastic insulator cover on that usually comes loose. I use these for power connections on my model railroad DCS wiring. They are perfect!

They seem good quality, but the plug is expanded too far, so I had to use a spare connector to first force the plug to insert, then it would not push my keystone out. So I am not sure how long they will last.

Convenient, easy, secure install.
Works flawlessly. Very easy to install. A lot easier to install than those straight connector ones where you are butterflying the wires. This one just put the wire straight in and screw 2 screws down with a flathead to secure it in place

Simple to use , with two screws to secure your speaker wire . If the rubber boot is a little tight just use some dish soap and it will slide over the insulation

Great price, quality and fit
These right angle plugs are good quality for a great price. The set screws secure the speaker cable well with the offset configuration. I've tried the jacks in several different speaker brands and different pieces of AV equipment and the fit is always secure. I would definitely recommend these in the 10 pack for clean installations.

Excellent quality and easy to insert the wire. The two screws make it near impossible to remove the wire once they are tightened additionally the 90° bend makes them super low profile allowing me to push my TV stand closer to the wall. Before these I ordered the closed screw types that monoprice recommends and they were terrible, hard to insert the wire and wobbled while plugged in. Save yourself the trouble and spend the extra money to buy these.

Just the trick for tight spaces. The fastening method with two screws is solid. I especially like the insulated covers that can help prevent an accidental shorting.

Excellent 90* plugs
These plugs are going into a Denon AV Receiver, and are superb -- doing exactly what I wanted... which is to have the speaker wire connected well without trying to thread the wire under the posts. This has definitely cleaned up the backside and makes the receiver able to hug the wall a little closer. Highly recommend!
