I did not buy it for its looks. I bought it for what it does. And it does that very well. My old Brother printer with USB A connections will not connect to my new MacBook Air with two USB C ports. This bridged the gap. Cas

USB Type-C to USB Type-A Female 3.1 Gen 1 Extension Cable

I used this cable to extend the USB C port in the center console of my 2022 Ford Bronco. It works perfectly and was worth the purchase price. I would recommend this cable to others.

Works for charging legacy devices

I recently got Leviton USB C outlets installed in the house. The family still has a few legacy devices that either use Micro-USB or a proprietary connector. These adapters allow us to plug them in and charge without issue. USB-IF certification is a plus.
