Best surrounding speaker set for the price, which is too low for this system. This system should be about in the $1k range, it sounds that good.

I've owned my fair share of AV equipment in my 48 years and this is easily the weakest, worst performing subwoofer I've ever heard or owned. The rest of the speakers are capable enough.

This surround sound system was better than I expected. The whole system was packed very well. The sound is superb, I could not ask for better. I have it in my basement and it sounds great. I am powering the system with a Denon receiver.

This is my first set of home theater speakers hooked up to a reciver. I?ve always had a sound bar with surround speakers. I have to say I was blown away with these speakers with the sub. Sound was really good. I should of made this move years ago i highly recommend theses speakers if your in a budget and you want to get in to Dolby speakers with out breaking the bank.

The satellites and subwoofer are incredible. I cannot believe how good the subwoofer was for this inexpensive system. I would put it alone against subs cost as much or more than this entire system. The satellites are clean and sound good for their perspective sizes. Atmos works decent for an upward firing speaker. Nowhere as good as a ceiling speaker. The center channel falls extremely short compared to the rest of the system. Being that the majority of sound comes from this speaker alone, I will be upgrading it to something else. It is quite muddy and distorts at high volume as it is so small and inefficient that it requires higher volumes for normal listening levels. I am powering this with a Pioneer Elite 200wpc amp. I would definitely recommend this for a smaller room or a beginner set as you will not find a better system for this price range. I am using this in a pretty large room and outside of the center channel, it sounds great. Especially for music.

Works great with my Denon AVR-960. Full Atmos. A lot of punch for the size and a nice crisp tone.

I love these speakers. Very clean sound. great separation. Used iTunes' graphic eq to balance for music. Outstanding value.

The unit worked and sounded excellent for two weeks, then one of the immersive speakers stopped working. Everything else is fine. Monoprice wants me to send the whole unit back when just the one immersive speakers needs replaced. Shipping will cost almost as much as the unit. Will try to reason with customer service and then re-rate.

Overall, on sale this was a nice value speaker set. They sound good and I appreciate the compact size for my application. My one complaint is mounting the satellite speakers. I can't, for the life of me, figure out how they could include keyholes that don't fit standard 1/4" screws. I can't find anything that fits. How ridiculous

This 5.1.2 speaker set [plus a Denon avr-s750h receiver connected to the TV] replaced my broken Vizio sound bar. It sounds much better although it cost more too. I'm pretty happy with this budget home theater setup so far. Here's some info that might be useful: --The front left and front right speakers have a separate "Atmos" type speaker on top, which has separate speaker wire connections. That means you will need a "7.1" receiver [minimum] to have enough separate channels for this 5.1.2 speaker set. --For those asking about the subwoofer size, it seems to be approximately a 12 1/8" cube. --I separately bought 100 feet of 16 gauge speaker wire [perfect size for the speaker connections] and nearly used the entire spool. --The speaker set comes with a subwoofer cable with 2 male connections on each end. My receiver only uses 1 male connection so I used a single plug cable [for the receiver end] with a Y-splitter adapter [for the subwoofer end]. Overall, seems like a good value for the money. Sounds good. Looks decent (although a little plain)...but I'm already seeing dust building up in the fabric speaker covers.

I was able to make it work with my receiver and it works fine. no thanks to your technical support. I used the old surround speakers of my old HT to add 2 satellite speakers. It's good.

These speakers are incredible! Mine are powered by an Onkyo TX-NR777 and they can handle a lot of power without noticeable distortion. I have them in my living room which is about 20' x 20' and they fill the room with sound. I've never exceeded 75% volume because you can't be in the same room with that much volume and, literally, at that level, things start moving on the shelves. Fantastic for watching blue rays and you can't beat the price!

outstanding bang for the buck. I'm still in the break in period, but the clarity and definition provided by this system far exceeds my expectations.

Everyone who has come over to my house has been impressed. This is my first full system so I can't really compare it to other brands.

As speakers go? These are good when paired with a subwoofer. However, ATMOS sound is NOT experienced proper when using the Bounce aka reflected sound off ceiling. Always mount speakers on the ceiling or wall tops if you're seeking real ATMOS sound. Perfectly flat ceilings are required for these ATMOS speakers to work proper. Even then, these types of ATMOS enabled speakers do not deliver that magic sound which ceiling mounted speakers will deliver. ~ peace
