    Comfortable. Good Sound. Bass.

I'm not an audiophile snob, but I do have a decent ear for most sound quality stuff. My brother got me these headphones along with a pair of other headphones to compare before shipping one set back. I chose these because they were smaller and lighter and had more bass. I'm glad I chose these. Some of the music I listen to hits really low bass, and these can handle down to like 40hz. they don't really do well with notes down around 30hz, but you can barely hear it. On the other end of the spectrum, they aren't really "bright" with the highs, but I'm fine with that because it can hurt your eardrums. They are comfortable to wear for long periods of time. So far the fake leather has been holding up. I have had other headphones in the past that had the fake leather tear/fall apart really quickly. BTW I mostly listen to electronic music, and I use these exclusively with my computer.

Reasonably accurate but poor ear pad longevity

Reasonably accurate headphone. Worth recommending but ear pad longevity is poor and OEM replacements aren't available. So, these headphones can be enjoyed for at least 1/2 year (in my case 1.5 years) before the ear pads fall apart.

flawed earpad material ruins great cans

great cans until the leatherette on the pads and band flakes off and gets into everything. 5 stars for comfort, sound, and the 3 included cables, -4 stars for the stupid leatherette flakes that turn up in my hair, my gear, everywhere in my studio. does anybody have a line on replacement pads? AKG send me a new pair when you fix the flawed material please and thank you.

    Not bad.

Sound quality is ok, The cord coming with this headphone is rigid, and any touching the cord causes lots of noise in the ear cup. Folding and bag are ok, easy to take with you. Comfortable to use.

    OUTSTANDING HEADPHONE!!

These are one of the best headphones that I have ever owned. I needed closed can for running our 32 channel church mixer and all my past headphones have been AKG as well. This is top of my list on the phones that I have owned in the past

Bass reproduction has come a long way for akg

Good value for money. Improved bass response. Pads bury your ears deep, so less leakage.

    Finally found my endgame phone.

After years using in ears and some of them even more expensive than the K371, ive stopped to use them and sold all them. All i need is here, finally i found my endgame. I need nothing more than what the K371 to all i have to do, for studio and/or just listening. Its a literally gem that probably will never be beaten. If you have never used them, give a try and at least hear them in a good audio source. You will understand.

    Great headphones!

Got these from a friend few months back. It's a great product for music, fantastic sound quality, lightweight and feels really premium. My only complaint are the earcups, they started to break down after like three months.

    Great headphones!

I got these headphones from a friend like four months ago, these have been really good so far. Great sound quality and these don't lose their tightness. My only complaint is that the earcups start to break down after some time.

Good Sound Quality, Build Quality Letting it Down

Very good sound quality for the price but the build quality was a big issue. The adjustable headband started losing grip after a few months and now constantly slips down on one side and the ear pads fell apart after about a year. For reference my previous headphones I had for 5/6 years only had to replace the ear pads once and never had issues with the tension/grip on the headband (although the sound quality wasn't as good as the k371's)

Great sound, but the hinge on one side is loose.

Is the hinge a screw or is it pressed into place? One side of my headphones is now loose. Is there a replacement hinge available that I can order and install myself? The hinge is the round part that slides up and down to adjust the fit of the headphones.

    Great audio, poor build quality

I purchased these headphones in March 2020, and they are no longer usable. The ear cups have deteriorated, and the headband snapped a couple of months ago. Less than 2 years of use. I loved them before people started telling me I had bits of black plastic on my ears and face. Then they broke completely.

    Great sound!

These replaced my old Sennheiser HD 580, open back headphones. I’m a drummer and I chose them for their natural, even sound throughout the entire range. Very comfortable to wear for hours. Appreciate the 3 cables, wow! Awesome. Carry pouch is nice to have. Very pleased with them. Thank YOU!

Great if you get a working pair

Unfortunately I'll be returning my K371 headphones. There has been a lot of manufacturing defects early in its production, but I've read that these got fixed for the most part. So either I got an early pair or there's still some lingering problems. To be clear. I love the sound of these. They're sharp and detailed and good all around headphones. They have great textured mids and listening to an electric guitar with distortion or a lead singer with gravelly or rough sounding voice is amazing. They're comfortable too and stylish enough to wear out. Not to mention that the noise isolation is perfect for me. But my left channel is quieter than my right. It's a real shame and if you want to give these a shot I absolutely give a cautious recommendation. I also got the K553 MKII headphones and the K371 are better in every way except maybe build quality. The K553 metal construction is fantastic, but the K371 are more portable and not so big. I like these enough that I'm considering returning mine and getting another hopefully working pair.

    Most comfortable, amazing sounding cans!

This is 'the most comfortable headphone' I have ever owned. Sounds amazing with lots of details and depth; especially sub-bass. Best sounding closed-back I ever heard. Thanks AKG!
