A: We use 100% recycled polyethylene terephthalate (rPET) bottles for our coconut beverages (excluding the cap and label) - and rPET bottles are BPA-free!

A: Hi Mimi - first and foremost, we hear you. Sustainability is a daily focus for us, and packaging is a major part of that work. We’ve explored many formats, including cartons, cans, and glass. We’ve chosen not to use aseptic cartons due to limited recyclability in the U.S., aluminum cans because they’re incompatible with our proprietary microfiltration process, and glass due to its higher environmental transport impact. That’s why we’ve transitioned to 100% post-consumer recycled PET bottles to reduce new plastic. A: Unopened bottles of our coconut water are safe if kept non-refrigerated in transit, but the quality (i.e. taste!) will degrade faster if left unrefrigerated. Pop them into the fridge when you can, to ensure the coconut water tastes its absolute best! We recommend storing all bottles refrigerated until consumption, just as long as it’s before the best-by date listed on the bottle. If you don’t finish a bottle, don’t worry. It’s good for up to 5 days as long as it’s kept under refrigerated conditions.
