Love!
I love Pete the cat books! My 4 year old loves the illustration and the sound of this book. People were complaining about the old McDonald instrument but my son loves it and Pete the cat already has that unique instrument background music and his other books so I think it kind of makes the books more unique. My kids happy all around great buy!

My 18 MO LOVES this book. He played it all throughout Target and on our entire drive home! So many pages and animals. It plays the second half of the song twice which is annoying and slightly surprising that someone signed off on that—but once again, my son loves it so I put up with it; plus it gives us a fun opportunity to sing together.

Sound misses the mark
Meh, the sound is just the Old Macdonald instrumentals for a verse and a half or so. And the half verse doesn’t fit with how you traditionally sing the song so it isn’t like you can play the sound to have music to sing along with the book. There are lots and lots of animals/pages to this book and it’s cute and good quality, it just seems like the sound part could be better.
