Cracked base
Cracked base after about 9 months and no options to replace it. My drinks never came out very smooth, but this was better than using a blender. Would never purchased again as now i have a big chunck of somethingthat serves no purpose.

Awesome while it lasted!
Was given this as a Christmas gift. Worked great making smooth Pina coladas with ease. Measuring container is fool proof. Gives exact measurements of each ingredient. After about 4 months of sporadic use the plastic around the base is cracked in multiple places. I am very careful when using and the only one who has operated the machine. Tried to use yesterday and because of so many cracks it is now leaking. I had to waste an entire pitcher of ingredients! Made a huge mess. Very disappointed it broke so soon. Enjoyed while it lasted!! Would be nice if the base was constructed of heavy duty plastic or stainless steel.

Makes great frozen drinks. However be very careful in the area where the ice goes. We had an issue where it stopped working. Instructions said to press a button and turn the inside of the ice chamber. My friend cut his finger and when I tried I cut my finger very badly. Half of my skin on the tip of my finger came off.

Love it but...
It's worked great for what we want but the skirt base cracked and it's been pretty impossible to find one for the DM0700 model. Anyone have any ideas on where to purchase just a skirt base?

Delicious but having some problems
I got this for Christmas from my hubby and it works awesome.. for a little while. I've only had it for a few months and the top part (that shaves the ice) has completely stopped working. It won't move or make any noise so I've had to just use the blender. Very bummed and disappointed.

Fun appliance
I got this for my partner for Christmas and we've made a lot of different drinks and it mixes well -especially smaller batches. I have found the easy pour jar to be too easy, as I managed to pour liquid all over the counter twice when it wasn't sealed. So I've stopped using the jar.

Great Product - Hard To Clean and Breaks Easily
Got this for my wedding and it has been a great gift. I tell all my friends to put it on their wedding registry. It makes really good Mudslides and Pina Coladas. It's really hard to clean and I cut my finger trying to clean it once. I wish they made it easier to clean! Be careful when trying to wipe the inside especially around the ice shaver. Also, I've had this less than a year and the bottom piece on the blender has already broke. I wouldn't expect to break this soon especially as I'm careful when cleaning it.

Makes Excellent Smoothies Too!
I've used mine every day for weeks so far. While it make unparalleled frozen margaritas and pina coladas, it also makes excellent smoothies, the best ever! I use 3 bananas, one large orange, and some yogurt. No additional liquid because the shaved ice that is added when you push the "start" button make it perfect! I haven't tried the Margaritaville mix but have my own margarita recipe and use the manual settings for the perfect consistency. This is an OUTSTANDING blender that I can truthfully say makes every day better than before. Cleaning and maintenance is also a breeze. What's not to like?
