Hard to fill
I bought one of these a few years back. Disappointed they didn't have the same size. The new one (smaller) will work so I ordered it but I can't for the life of me get the part removed to fill it.

Ok lamp
I found the lamp difficult to fill with shells. The white shade was horrible, like no shade at all. I ended up putting another shade I had on it. Would I. buy again? No

Hi - sorry to see that you had trouble filling the lamp base, and that the shade was not to your liking. ThFilling the base is fairly straightforward, you just remove the glass from the metal base and fill. Gorgeous look, but noisy
I bought these for my remodeled beach house. Used them on either side of the front door and garage door. Absolutely love the look, but hate that the glass inserts rattle in the wind. Worried the glass will break over the winter. Installed by the builder, so not sure if there was a more secure way to stop them from rattling.

Beautiful lamp but the wing nut on the bottom of the lamp broke as soon as I tried to open it. I can't return it to the store and don't want to pay for the return postage. Very disappointed.

I purchased two of these lamps after borrowing Lauren lamps of the same style from a friend. I googled these Lauren lamps but wound up here with this product. I might have known by the relatively inexpensive price that these lamps are not what I wanted. Delivery was very rapid—a plus. The lamps weigh nothing, are flimsy (unlike the sturdier and heavier Lauren lamps), have smallish lamp shades and a one-way bulb (I was looking for a 3-way and my Google attempt with the Lauren lamps specified that). They look OK, a bit smaller than I’d like, but I won’t return them because of the hassle involved. I am disappointed but probably did not perform my due diligence once these came up for purchasing. It feels like a bait and switch and I should have been more careful when I ordered.

We hav collected shells all over the world for the last 50 years and we put the best into this lamp. Everyone has been excited and started talking about the things they could put in it they were around in 80s, but they are back!!!!

Bulb size not given.
I would have rated it higher but there was no information on the bulb size to use. I'm using a 60 but will try a 100 and hope it works.
