    Beautiful unique windmill fan

    Just received this Casa Vieja Windmill fan. Absolutely love the styling! At 72", it's large enough for our vaulted primary bedroom. While it an out door rated fan with ABS blades, you would have no idea they are not real wood. The fan is a dark oil rubbed bronze and the blades are a bit darker gray oak. Just beautiful. Powered by a DC motor which is energy efficient and quiet. Can't wait to get it installed!

    Doesn't move air well

    DOES NOT move air well. If looks could cool a space this would be a great fan. For us that's all its been is a light that looks very nice in our house. We live in a hot area and this fan misses the mark big time on pushing air. We purchased this when the price was a couple hundred more. Our smaller fans in other rooms, set on lower speeds, blow significantly better than this fan. I don't recommend this fan especially if you live in a hot area. Very disappointed.

    Stay away from casa vieja fans

    We like the style of this fan, that's all. The remote is very poor design using an ancient 12v battery style that is hard to find and the embedded fan control fails to start the fan 50% of the time. Further, the fan light has a mind of is own coming on at random times all by itself, usually in the middle of the night. We had the fan replaced once but the replacement behaved worse than the original. We wouldn't put up with such poor quality of the fan were not mounted 20 feet up requiring scaffolding to access. Stay away from casa vieja fans as they are poor quality.

    Look great, but does not move any air

    I have had two electricians out to look at this fan, I love the way it looks. I bought two of them for our patio. They do not move any air. I am very disappointed. I really wish we would have used these sooner so I could have returned them.

    Ultra Quiet, Pushes a lot of Air!

    This fan is right above my head in the great room while I'm working throughout the day and I can't hear it, even on level 6! The air pushes out to all areas of the great room and kitchen.

    This fan doesn’t move much air but it looks good. Ironically this fan replaced one with shorter fan blades that moved more air!

    This fan looks great and has long blades which made me think it would move a lot of air but it doesn’t. We installed it on the back patio and honestly you can’t feel any air movement when it is on, even on the highest setting.
