Perfect size for the bedside in the guest room where there is not a lot of space on the end table. So hanging a lamp was the answer. The quality of the lamp is great. It was easy to install.

?? I am very very very disappointed with this lamp!! I have had it for 1 year and 6 months and swing arm broke oh, and when I called they said it was not under warranty and there was nothing they could do about it! I adjusted the shade oh, and it snapped write off, so the part with the bulb on the arm is just hanging there!!! No threads to screw it back on and no way to fix it! So because I have another one on the other side of the bed, I had to call and pay full price for a new one to be shipped to match!!! I just could not understand why they could not compensate me in some way for this inferior product!!! Very very very upset!????

Everything about it has worked fine, except that the brass shaft (with a ball-shaped end) with which I turn it on or off keeps falling off. There's nothing to let you know when you have reached the point where the shaft begins to unscrew from the hidden, threaded bolt inside. I've added a photo of the mechanism referred to, showing it sticking out to the right. It's too late to get any satisfaction after 60 days, so I JUST WANTED TO WARN OTHERS THAT THIS COULD HAPPEN TO YOU, TOO. I own 2 older "Lamps Plus" wall lamps almost identical to this one & they do not have this type of switch, so no problems. Wish I knew of a remedy for this flawed design.
