Motherlove Non-GMO Pregnant Belly Salve - 4oz: Moisturizing, Soothing, Vegan, Whole Body

I love the calming and delicate scent and feel of this balm! Earlier in my pregnancy I was using a shea moisture brand body oil which is also great, and a palmers cocoa butter. I like how this one feels a little more luxurious and less heavy on my skin than the palmers. I massage it in before bed after baths and showers. It is oily so I let it soak in some before putting on clothes other than a robe, undergarments or sleepwear.

Subtle, spa-like smell and soothing, clean ingredients. I use it on my whole body after a shower (including the soles of my feet!) and everything is softer! I absolutely love this stuff. I find that it absorbs really well and continues to moisturize long after application, unlike many other moisturizers. I have the Honest preg lotion (smells like cling wrap btw) and this blows it out of the water.

This is my fourth jar of this stuff over 3 pregnancies. Yes, it’s greasy, but put it on at the end of the day before bed, toss on some pajamas, and luxuriate in moisture and zero itching. Bonus: the grease slots that inevitably form on your pajamas come out instantly in the wash with no extra effort or products needed. Also, as an added bonus, my toddler was having a horrific time with eczema, peeling dry skin, and general itchy discomfort. I tried all the usual suggested creams and lotions and nothing worked. Then I realized I had this for myself and gave it a try on him. His dryness was gone overnight. I kid you not. He has not since complained of any itchiness and really enjoys having this applied each evening. His skin looks perfect now.

I love this belly salve. It’s very hydrating and relieves any itching you get from stretching skin. I find the smell very calming. This was gifted to me and I had to buy some more!

I’ve used this for both pregnancies. Not greasy and smells like actual lavender because it is! I did get stretch marks with the second but that just happens as far as I know (and maybe would have been worse!) It was a lovely self care thing in pregnancy.

I sent this to my SIL as a gift and she is loving the smell and feel of the salve.
