It’s not the ultra-premium “artist-grade” set (if that’s what you’re comparing), but for many people (especially practising, hobbyists, or even semi-serious work) it offers strong value. If I were giving a star rating out of 5, I’d say around 4.2 to 4.5 stars—depending on your uses. Package looks fancy and nice. The smell is not that strong, I’m okay with it. You can use it for sketching, loose washes, detailed painting, mixed media, or journaling. If I were to pick one caveat: make sure you use decent watercolour paper and a proper brush, and don’t expect the mixing/matte-finish/pigment intensity of the top watercolour brands. But if you go in with those realistic expectations, you’ll likely be very happy.
