Terrible double cheddar sauce
This product is absolutely horrible. It used to be thick, rich and full of flavor and now that is all gone from this product. I could not believe how watery and salty this product has become. Please please go back to the original formula, otherwise take this off the market.

Super great for easy and fast pasta

Perfect Cheese Sauce

Would try again!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m a big of cheese so my expectations were high. Of course it didn’t disappoint, it was really tasty just a bit watered down. Would recommend for a quick meal or even snack. Like how the packaging was glass, which for some reason made me feel safe that it would be tasty. If you add a bit of oregano it’ll make the cheese even tastier.

This has so many additives it taste like a nasty box mac and cheese I love Ragu red sauces and I can make the Alfredo with heavy cream and added good cheeses to made it eatable. The double cheddar just was a really bad after taste. I did more to it then I do the Alfredo. Just taste as you go and make it as good as you want your family to eat.

I love it in the jar. When you switched to boxed version it was over a year before I found it again in the box. Im delighted that you switched back to the jar as the taste is better for some reason. I use the to make a fast simple dish I call salsa cheesy chicken. In 9x12 dish one jar + 1 cup salsa +1 cup uncooked rice stirred together to combine in dish. Lay chicken breast strips sprinkled with paprika on top. Cover with foil bake 375 50 min. Uncover sprinkle with shredded cheddar bake 5 more min to melt. Eat yum yum. I also use it to cook mixed with my frozen broccoli in the microwave for broccoli and cheese. I tried cheese sauces in the can by different companies but thought they tasted metallic and aweful.

Versatile and delicious
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was my first experience with cheese sauce in a jar and I have to say I was impressed. I added some to pasta and it tasted like an amazing mac & cheese. It was nice to be able to control how much I added too. Also used it to dip pretzel bites in, which was so delicious as well. I actually prefer the taste of this cheese sauce better than other cheeses I’ve had before. This will definitely be something I get again and have around the house since it’s versatile and delicious.

Thicker Sauce But Can Be A Solos Pantry Staple
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] While I think the RAGU Double Cheddar Sauce is a great option for a quick dinner on a busy night, it wouldn’t be a go to product for my family. The texture was a bit thicker than I typically prefer, and maybe that had more to do with the type of pasta we used. If you like thicker nacho sauce or cheese dip then I think this product will be perfect for you. If you prefer a creamier sauce this product might be a good base to mix with milk or water instead of creating a sauce completely from scratch. Overall, it’s a good product and is perfect pantry staple to have on hand when you don’t have much time and hungry kids.
