Been using this for 25 years!
I'll never use another cleanser. Gentle, effective clean without drying out your skin.

Very disappointing soap
I used the bar soap for years and absolutely loved it. I hate that it was discontinued because the liquid soap is a terrible substitute! It does a bad job of cleaning my face, and I am currently in the process of finding another makeup brand to switch to after being a loyal fan for 30 years.

Highly allergenic
Contains methylisothiazolione and methylchloroisothiazolione named the contact allergen of the year in 2013 by the American Contact Dermatitis Society. Please STOP using these ingredients while claiming allergy testing and for sensitive skin. 20-25% of people test positive for this allergen. I get a rash and numbness. Europe and Canada has bans on it.

Really disappointed
After oil cleanser to remove makeup, I use this afterwards to make sure everything is really off. It doesn't lather, which is fine, but it burns my face. I'm noticing breakouts around my nose and forehead when I usually NEVER get acne.

Help please.
I had my rosacea cleared up. Then I ran out of my extra gentle bar soap which was the only thing my face could tolerate. So in desperation I ordered this and I'm sorry but my skin can't tolerate this soap. I also tried the redness solution cleanser. Much to my unhappiness the liquid facial soap was drying and made my inflamed areas hurt. The redness solutions was not painful but my skin remained broken out. It's so embarrassing to be 72 years old suffering from broken out skin. Never any problems before my 60's. I would like to impress on Clinique how some of us relied on the Extra Mild Facial Bar Soap. Why? We need it. Seriously. Is it now being sold under another name? I need this soap. Something they put in liquid soaps people with Sensitive skin absolutely cannot tolerate. Please bring back the bar.

Please bring back the bar soap
I have now tried all the soaps Clinique has since the bar soap was discontinued. Nothing measures up to the bar soap. The liquid soap was the last I tried. It doesn't lather and my face doesn't feel clean. The other Clinique soaps broke my face out. I've used the bar soap for several years and have been very satisfied with it. Please bring it back. If not, I'll have to go to another brand.

Face wash
This liquid soap is great. I use it for long time. It does the job and doesn't dry out your skin

Best cleanser ever!
I've tried numerous facial cleansers, but they either leave my already dry skin dry or make it too oily, leading to breakouts. However, this cleanser is the best. My skin is silky, supple, and well-hydrated without being oily. I haven't had any breakouts or blackheads. It's perfect for my super-sensitive skin.

Horrible
I have been using the mild bar soap for over 30 years. Please bring it back I'm begging you. This Liquid Soap doesn't compare to the bar soap. It irritates my skin, causing a burning sensation after using this to was my face. My skin does not feel soft like it did when I was using the bar soap. Please bring the bar soda back, pleaseee. Thank You

Very Disappointed
I have used Clinique products since I was 24 years old. I am always complimented on my complexion at the age of 69. After all these years Clinique discontinued the facial soap bar. Big mistake! Nothing offered here compares to the facial bar soap. I'm very disappointed.

Disappointing
I have been using the Clinque bar soap for over 30 years. I have struggled with acne for most of my life and the bar soap is the only product that helps. The liquid soap is not effective. Please bring back the bar as soon as possible. It works.

It's horrible.
This is horrible. It is not a cleanser, it is a plastic coating for your face. Had to wash several times with Dove hand soap to get the scum off my face. 40 year user of the wonderful and discontinued bar soap. All these years you tell us to never break up our 3 step, and then you go and do it. Really shakes my confidence in the entire line now.

Breaking out ever since I switched to this from the bar
Clinique says in their responses to reviews that they're working on getting the bar back on the shelves...Please work faster! ::sob:: I've been using the liquid cleanser for months, and I swear I haven't broken out this frequently since I was a teenager. It just really doesn't clean as effectively. I know it's just soap, but I hate it. Like, what do you mean I gotta live under a fascist regime in this economy AND have problematic skin? This sucks.

Horrible Product, Bring Back the Bar Soap
It doesn't clean your face; you need to wash your face 3 times to get off makeup and daily dirt. Then you have to rinse your face 20 times to get the scaly feeling off. I'm not a tree hugger but why use excessive plastic bottles that aren't recycled most of the time, and all the excess water to rinse your face with the water shortage around most of the country. What was Clinique thinking getting rid of the bar soap which washed quickly and rinsed off quickly.

Bring back the oily skin bar soap
I had been using the bar soap for oily skin for years and it did a great job of removing all oil, dirt and leftover makeup from my skin. Clinique is no longer selling that product and the liquid face soap for "oily skin" is just not the same. Doesn't leave that squeaky clean feeling that the other soap did and I'm highly disappointed in the results after using for over a month. If you have very oily skin like I do, this product just doesn't cut it. Not to mention this product is at a much higher price point than the bar soap was. Will not be repurchasing this product. Clinique please bring back the bar soap or I'll be taking my business elsewhere.

Why fix something that isn't broken
I'm reading these reviews and hearing you are working to have the bar soap available asap. Upon calling customer service, the 1-866 number, I was told that the bar soap had definitely been discontinued. Which is it? I am 70 and have used the bar soap since in my 20's. Best bar soap on the market. And it sounds like most everyone feels the same. Why do companies insist on changing a product that is already working perfectly? When I called I was told to try the foaming soap. I purchased the product and it's like a fine grade sandpaper, does not make my skin feel soft at all and it doesn't even remove all traces of make up. So now I have soap I can't use and still not sure what Clinique soap to use, since nothing compares to the bar soap. I have very sensitive skin and can't tolerate a lot of products. But the Clinique bare soap was a 200% winner. Are you bringing back the bar soap or is it gone for good?
