A necessity
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This stuff is a necessity at our house and you can never have enough. A must add to any first aid kit. We keep some in the car and in the house. When blood starts flowing from an injury I love to have this close at hand because it really does the job well to stop the bleeding

Works good stopped bleeding a lot faster
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have to admit I was a little skeptical about this but it did stop the bleeding of a cut a lot faster than expected. I did not have a deep wound so can not verify that it would work for that; but a regular cut it pretty much stopped the bleeding right away. I will be getting more to keep in my emergency kit

Amazing product for your first aid kit
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently had to assist a man that crashed his motorcycle and split his head open from the back of his neck to his forehead. I had standard gauze and pads in my first and kit but not do I wish I had these QuickClot gauze bandages to help control and stop the bleeding faster. I'll be putting these in every kit I have now.

A bit confused
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Not sure what it was supposed to be used for, I mean big cuts? Small cuts? Deep cuts? Wounds? We wound up shoving them up my daughter's nose for her nosebleed... not sure they stopped the bleeding faster, but definitely kept the blood from running down her face.

A MUST for any first aid kit!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] QuickClot is a must for every first aid kit! Especially in the time of Covid, I appreciate having QuickClot on hand to avoid some potential ER trips. I used some of my bandage when I broke a glass figurine. Despite sweeping and vacuuming twice, I stepped on a piece and got a cut underneath my toe that just wouldn't stop bleeding. The QuickClot burned a bit, but the bleeding got under control quickly and stopped soon after. Definitely a must-have!

" Fast Working "
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I ended up cutting my hand while slicing potatoes for dinner last night. So I got in my medicine cabinet and got out my trusted QuickClot Gauze and placed it on my wound. It works so fast to stop the bleeding within seconds. With 5x clotting quick factor. Definitely would recommend keeping this trusty gauze in your cabinet.

Camping first aid kit item
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Perfect add on item to supplement what’s in my off the shelf first aid kit. It didn’t come with any clotting gauze or powder. It’s an item where if you need it, you reallllly need it. As a first responder I keep them in my trunk kit too. Highly recommend to purchase this brand that I’ve never had quality or packaging issues with. I also recommend you learn the stop the bleed techniques.

Life Saver
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My husband is a bleeder due to blood thinners. He has very thin skin that often tears. Any little bump turns into a major situation. QuikClot was so helpful in stopping the bleeding fast. QuikClot is an advanced clotting gauze. It’s military proven, safe and easy to use. All you need to do is open the package, take the gauze out and place it on the wound. You apply pressure and while leaving the gauze in place wrap the wound to secure in place. I like that that it comes in packages to keep them sterile. I can store several packages in my First Aid kit and I’m ready for any situation. The gauze has kaolin so it helps form clots. These are single use pouches.

I always keep them in my emergency backpack.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am one that will buy things for our emergency backpack. In this day and age you never know when you will need something like this. We are sole caretakers for my in-laws who are elderly and they take meds that prevent their blood from clotting. So I am always looking into finding things that go into the emergency backpack that I take with us every time we go over to their home to care for them. I have used similar ones previously while hiking years ago. Depending upon how severe the wound is, it is not for minor cuts. If the wound is deep you'd apply pressure onto the wound while opening the Quik gauze packet. You would need to place the gauze deep into the wound itself, making sure you are still applying pressure to the wound with your other hand so it can start working. Depending on how deep the wound is keep packing the gauze till it's filled making sure the gauze was touching where the bleeding vein area is. Once you can not fill any more gauze and you have remaining gauze you would want to use the rest to wrap the wound and apply pressure for roughly 3-4 mins. You may need more if the wound is larger. Once the clotting has started you will need to wrap the wound with another dressing or elastic wrapping making sure it is not too tight as you don't' want to stop blood circulation. Then get medical help. In most cases, they will not allow you to ride in the ambulance with them so it is best to keep the packaging of the gauze tucked into the wrapped wound this way when they get to the hospital the Dr's will know what clotting product was used. I recommend this for everyone to have in their emergency medical bag or backpack.
