The new Caseta Outdoor Smart Plug is IP-65 rated for durability, designed to protect against “the finest dust and heaviest rainfall.” Lutron says the smart plug can “withstand severe weather season after season.” Ideal for smart control of landscape and string lighting, holiday lights and inflatables, and some motors and pumps, the new Caséta Outdoor Smart Plug gives homeowners convenient control of their exterior lights via the free Lutron app. For example, a homeowner can set their patio string lights to come on 15 minutes before sunset, adding a touch of magic to the perfect summer evening with family or friends..

Excellent product¡¡¡ I was surprised for distance

I bought the device to control some lamps on my terrace and I suspected that I would not be able to control them from my first floor, but it did and without failure so far.

Great tool for powering mister pump

I bought this to remotely control our misting system pump. It was the best rated outdoor power switch I could find. Most others won't survive Arizona heat and sun. I'm hopeful this switch will last 5-10 years. We initially bought the dedicated remote switch (Pico) but eventually bought the hub so we could use Alexa to turn misting pump remotely.
