Just purchased this week and thought I would swap brands.. BAD mistake the wands are so sharp! It’s too sharp for Dermaplaning! It cuts you so easily. I have multiple cuts on my face now. Extremely uncomfortable

Buy it! Just maybe watch a video on how to use
I am VERY confused on all the bad reviews?? I think maybe a video on how to properly use this is in order? Holding it sideways, use small short strokes down. Rinse or wipe it clean every couple of strokes. It works great. This package lasts me quite a long time. I have black hair (Italian ancestry) so lots of fine dark hairs. Works great for me.

While the weight of this instrument is nice, the exposed top edge of the razor has led to knicks, undermining the weight for closer hair removal. I'll be returning to my previous product.

LOVE this dermaplaner! I’ve tried so many different disposable kinds but I’m so glad I’ve found this one. The weighted handle feels good and helps with stability, and the included 6 blades are a plus. They are SHARP. Super sharp. I wouldn’t recommend this for someone who is new to self-dermaplaning or who might have shaky hands. (My tip: keep the skin taut to reduce the chance of getting cut.) Those who, like me, have shaved their faces for a majority of their adulthood would really appreciate the sharpness and the shape of the handle and blade. Most disposable ones I find are difficult to use in the sideburn area so I get a weird unnatural sideburn shape, but this one has made it so easy. Photos are left vs right side, dermaplaned vs not, peach fuzz and sideburns vs smooth!

Blade at the end has no safety edge!
I bought this last week after using the disposable Schick dermaplaning tool for years, I switched to this one. The blade at the end hangs out to much and is not rounded like the old version and I sliced my face by my ear. I think the old ones I had are way safer with the rounded blade at the end, than this model! Even after being very careful as I always am, I wouldn’t use this again.

Dangerous!
I wish I had read reviews before buying. I’ve used a similar tool with great results. This one is dangerous. Honestly not sure how it’s even still being sold. It’s dangerous! The way the blade was designed cuts your skin way too easily.

Not for contoured faces
The tip isn’t covered in any way so as you stroke if your face contours you end up slicing yourself with the tip. I have tiny pokes all over the one side of my face, i have high cheek bones and under them is rather concave. No matter how I held this razor the tip just stabbed into my skin.

It's sharp, but gives a clean finish. I've seen the other reviews regarding this product stating they got a bunch of cuts. I did not. However, what I noticed was you need to not press it so hard on your skin. Or have someone do it for you if you can't see the curvature of your face. It exfoliates perfectly. I used it on my face, legs, & arms. I used to get razor cuts on my legs & arms, but didn't with this. The quality is very good as well. I highly recommend this!
