  • A: I highly doubt there will be a digital code since this is a Shout Factory release. It may have a movieSpree code at most but not likely a code that redeems at any other service.

Impressive 4K Transfer for 1980's Transformers Fans

One of the 1980’s best animated films. If you grew up watching the Transformers cartoon series, you’ll enjoy watching the 4K theatrical version. The new transfer makes all the colors pop and it’s a steel book for under $20. A plastic case version is priced higher than this Shout Factory limited release. Included is also the bluray with the TV 4:3 formatted version. I’ve only seen this film broadcast on a CRT TV back in the day and watching it on 4K is the closest thing to seeing it in the theaters again.

Good transfer!

Great colors. God transfer. Audio is same as the blu-ray. When it was listed for pre-order, a digital copy was in the title as included. That was a mistake. Target refunded the item for me when I contacted them about my disappointment.
