Not quite as advertised / Labeled
I need to wear a high spf daily die to certain medications, medical conditions, and living in central texas. The stick is convenient, no mess. Says non-whitening on the back label; it leaves a light white sheen and is a bit sticky (not as sticky as others i've tried). The white comes off a little on my clothes. I don't know if a zinc sunscreen can truly be non-whitening, though i feel "non-whitening" is mislabled. And, it's not "ultra" sheer nor "dry" touch.

It says "ultra sheer" and "non-whitening" on the packaging but that is just a lie. It does, in fact, work as a sunscreen so I didn't burn. But is makes me look super pale and streaky and it takes a bit to rub in so its a bit more smooth and not streaky and gross looking. I got a sunscreen stick so I could have easy application and didn't have to take time to rub it in but this you kind of need to rub in unless you like the white streaks it leaves. It leaves a nasty white residue that stains on everything I might touch or accidently rub against (clothes, car, bag, headphones, etc). I have no idea how to clean it off. It makes me feel greasy and sticky. It says "dry touch feel" but it just a sticky texture that dirt, hair and fibers cling too; and it also makes my skin feel dry like I need moisturizer. It also says it doesn't get in eyes or irratate them which is true. It didn't get in my eyes and they won't irratated like most sunscreens do so that was the only nice part that I appriacated along with not burning in the sun. It also rubs off super easily so it feels like it's not the most effective sunscreen. I would not recommend unless you like looking super pale and staining everything you touch and leaving white residue on everything and feeling sticky and greasy.

This was not sheer and did leave a white cast for me. I'm fairly white with warm undertones for reference, and I did try rubbing in the product. It left less of a white cast than most mineral sunscreens I've tried, but it seems like if you have warm undertones no matter how white then maybe the tinted mineral sunscreens are the way to go.

I would definitely keep buying it
I like how it’s small can can take it anywhere with me. It leaves a bit of a white cast on but I just need to absorb it better. Anyway I like how it actually protects my skin from the sun and has no scent to it.

First the making of sunscreen into a stick is the best and most convenient thing ever! You can literally take it with you anywhere and the reapplication is so easy, you just swipe it on. No mess! The coverage is great as well. I highly recommend.

I love this Neutrogena SPF stick. As AZ girl this stays in my purse at all times. I know others have mentioned this leaving a white cast but I have not experienced such- this goes on smoothly and gives me a little glow. So convenient and mess free. No sunscreen in the eyes. 10/10 recommend!

Great but..
I purchased this for our son who is extremely allergic to fragrances and many ingredients found in skin products. This was on his approved list from dermatologist. Overall, Happy with product. No sunburns. If rub in after applying no major white cast. Stick east for our 6 year old to use and great for face application. The things we didn’t like about it is it did NOT last long. Applies easily but unevenly. If you haven’t purchased stick sunblock, imagine a deodorant stick but imagine it only was used in the middle and not the sides. Uneven use of stick when applying to our son’s body. I will not be repurchasing. Wasn’t cost effective and our kids go out almost every day, multiple times. Solid product, stick version not so great.

Gets jammed and is clumpy
Noticed after using it immediately the cap gets stuck and is hard to pull out again. I twist the stick up higher by like 1/4" because I'm constantly scraping against the plastic edges, but then it smushes against the cap. Disappointed at how thick and greasy it is compared to CeraVe mineral sunscreen stick, and the sunscreen falls off in clumps so you REALLY have to rub it in. I wouldn't recommend for easy application. What's the point of using a sunscreen stick applicator if you have to still rub it in by hand...

Basically perfect sunscreen
Doesn't leak, doesn't melt, doesn't feel toooo gross, doesn't make you look like a ghost. It does make you a little whiter, but not noticeably (at least not for someone with fair skin). This is basically my mineral sunscreen holy grail. The only thing I don't like is that the cap fits so tightly, when it gets down to the last little bit, the vacuum from removing the cap makes the little chunk fall out. But I'm willing to overlook that for everything I said above.
