Powerful enough
I bought the 16” Worx chain saw. This is more then I needed but wanted the extra length just in case. This has really good power. I haven’t made more then 40 cuts with it yet but it blows through limbs like a heavy duty gas unit. It is heavy like a gas powered especially with the batteries, However it’s easy to handle. I’m looking forward to using it on larger trees and limbs.

Impressed
Ordered this saw 2 weeks ago due to storm damage. So far I’m impressed with ease of operation, balance noise. I’ve owned 4 Stihl gas powered saws over the last 50 years and have watched the progress of battery powered equipment. Finally decided to switch to a Worx saw after using my daughter’s Worx string trimmer for a few years, then transitioning to the Worx 20V share system. I own the Blower/Vac, Nailer, Drill and String trimmer/Edger. After considering price, durability, and reputation, I would recommend this saw

Bad feathers
I bought a 16" a few years ago it started out ok. But now I can't keep chain on for more then 3 cuts then it jumps off. I am now getting ready to throw it in the trash. The way you have to tighten the is not good it makes it too hard to put the chain back on. enough said

Chain falls off
You'll spend more time putting the chain back on then cutting wood.

Chain
Chain came off after 1 minute of use. I read other reviews about the chain coming off and now it happened to me. Not happy with this chainsaw.

Better than my gas chain saw!

This saw has plenty of power and easy to use. It's not as heavy as my other 16" chainsaw. Batteries still had plenty of charge left when I finished clearing the area.

Nitro 40v worx chainsaw
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Saw worked well right out of the box. The chain bar set up they give you socks. Best to change that setup to an Oregon chain bar as I did. After the switch cut 3/4 of cord mixed hardwood on a single 2 battery full charge. Noted is the saw is very quick to cutting speed on trigger pull which helps getting things cut. The negative with that is you may not need that when twig trimming-(no easing in or out of a cut). The saw is not metal so deep woods cutting saw its not. But more than enough for everything else especially around the house. I would recommend this saw - no doubt.

This saw is awesome. Very easy to use and gets the work done. Has cut everything thrown at it. Look for something to cut every weekend since purchased. Very easy to clean saw once done for the day. Worx has done a remarkable job with this saw. Keep the tools coming.

Purchased a week after receiving the cordless 10 saw. Worx chainsaws are one of the best. Took to the trees the day it was delivered. This 16 inch saw did far and above what I needed it to do. Cut 14-16 inch tree with ease. Ego has competition. This 16 inch chainsaw is hard to put down. Worx has done it. You will not be disappointed with this purchase.

Chain won't stay on
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Have not cut much wood yet but I have been cutting brush and the chain has came off at least 4 times. I can see that the base of the bar is not cut wide enough when I put the chain back on hopefully this will correct itself in time. I have survived on wood heat for over a decade and I plenty of experience with chainsaws. For now I will play wait and see, but I ain't happy so far.

Hello Valued Customer! Thank you for taking the time to share your experience and review. One way to help alleviate the issue is to take the bar and chain off of the tool, then reassemble it to make sure it tightly in place. After you place the bar and chain on the tool, pull the bar outwards (away from the motor) and then start twisting the auto tension knob. As you tighten the knob, lift the tip of the bar at a slight upwards angle. Once fully tightened, let go of the bar and check the tension in the chain. Tipping the bar at an upward angle as you tighten it allows for added tension and typically resolves any issues with the chain popping off.
