It's fine
Many of the patches have been released and fixed a lot of the bugs and glitches. There are still issues, but honestly, it doesn't seem to be worse than the original PS2 game. The missions are also MUCH easier and actually passable on the first try, which is awesome. There are clear but subtle differences in the graphics and gameplay, such as the shine on cars, the blood and spatter is more graphic (cannot be turned off in settings), and some of the music has changed. But overall, it still feels like the original. My biggest gripe and disappointment is that the cheat codes no longer work. I spent hours searching the internet to figure out a solution to no avail. I could only get the big head/bobble head cheat to work. I even tried changing the game play control settings to "classic" (per Reddit suggestions) and nothing. It really sticks because cheat codes made the game extra fun.
