Q: why is this advertisement stating the bench can hold 1000 lbs when the user manual and every other website offering this product state the maximum weight is 300 lbs. after installation bench wobbles.

Compact and sturdy weight bench
Sturdy weight bench, wide and long without taking up too much space. Simple design, very stable, and can support over 200lbs.

You Get What You Pay For
I guess you get what you pay for. Obviously this item is priced low but holy cow it's barely functional as a chair! I am 5'6 140lbs, I'm not a hefty gal by any means, and it's a WEIGHT BENCH, with that said I don't trust sitting on it much less lifting. it shakes like an angry chihuahua. Also it was B to put together but I did everything right. To conclude, HUGE THUMBS DOWN!

Wobbly
after I completed building the bench the front and back support bars were very wobbly. I e tightened them properly and there is still a wobble

Not worh it.
Assembly is beyond difficult and if you call Cap Barbell for support like the instructions say, you get a recording stating they no longer take calls because of COVID. Ridiculous. We had to shave and sand some parts to get them to join together. It’s not worth it.
