  • A: my spouse has an iPad 9th gen and the 1st gen pencil does not fit. I'd suggest you contact apple support directly, because it was my understanding that only the 10th gen iPad required the adapter.

    Received one new as a Christmas gift. It would not charge. I returned it and proceeded to pay 20$ more to have it shipped. Was no longer on sale. I just returned the second one that was shipped to me with no plastic covering on the box and the plastic around the pencil had already been opened and sloppily rewrapped. Disappointed.

    I bought it to replace my pencil that I have already. However, I think it is defective because it doesn't work on procreate even after I followed many tutorials to try and reconnect it so it works. It works fine for other apps so far except the app that I bought it for. I should have tried it sooner because it passed the return date before I tried it since it was only 30 days.
