These swim shorts are absolutely my favorite & a huge Thank You to Lands' End for finally making them in bright, happy colors! And I own just about every color! I wear these for swimming AND miles & miles on the trails hiking. I wash them on "delicate" just to keep them looking new but some of them have been thru my regular wash loads several times & still look & fit awesome. Comfortable!

I bought this item because I liked the way they looked on the model in the photo. They looked as if they fit exactly they way I wanted them to: close to the th'reigh so they don't balloon out in the water and look like a swim skirt. They look NOTHING like they do in the photo! They are AWFUL! From the fit to the fabric they are horrible. The fit is larger than the size. The legs are so full they will balloon out when in the water. They do not fit close to the thighs at all. They're like wide cut shorts and the fabric is stiff and feels cheap and like something that would be used to line a raincoat or something. So very disappointed and am sending them back.

Good material but a little baggy.

I prefer the capri length swim bottoms, but you do not seem to offer them now. These are too baggy in the legs, I do water aerobics and these swim bottoms were just annoying. And I don't need the pockets!

I am not an avid swimmer or beach goer anymore (born at a NJ beach town) but I wanted a swim suit just in case when I travel or sit on my deck.

I ended up buying two pairs. Great fit. Comfortable coverage. Bought these for kayaking- they will be perfect!!

I bought 2 of these. Not because I love them--I really don't. Why don't I love them? The top part (around the waist) is composed of a fabric that deteriorates in swimming pools. Most of the garment is made of a typical fabric that is found in garments made to get wet. It dries easily, doesn't stretch out of shape, and wears like iron. I'm sure if the board shorts were made entirely out of this, we wouldn't need a pair each season. But the waist part of the board shorts is made of a softer, stretchier fabric that falls out of shape in a month or two, and discolors to boot. (Note: the swimming pool I use is salt watered, no adverse chemicals used, like chlorine. So don't blame the pool. I have shopped a lot of places, and have found that it is common to use this stretchier fabric around the waist, so the options are limited. I really wish that you would stick with what WORKS rather than what you are selling, just thinking that it's working.

I bought the board shorts with the panty and a pair without the panty and I love them both. Very comfortable and fast drying.

These are the best board shorts. I have a number of these, but needed to start buying them in a smaller size.

Love, love, love these bottoms. My thighs aren’t something I want to show off. This hides them in an attractive way.

These are a pretty color (Lake blue) and fit is slightly smaller than my last pair. I have a size 10, but had to order 12 petite this time. They are great for summers at the lake. I like the pockets but....I wish these all came without the panty!
